CLAIRE'S POV

I was awoken by the gentle nudging and calm voice of Owen. "Claire, babe, we're at the airport" he spoke softly. "Okay" I smiled.

"Our flight doesn't leave for another hour and 15 minutes, meaning we can board in an hour. Customs will be at least 20 minutes..." Gray rambled on, he was just as organised as me. "Gray, please. Shut. Up." Zach sniped. "Boys behave" Karen growled. We checked our bags in after reaching the front of an enormous line and I still haven't spoken much.

"Aunt Claire, errm, are you okay? I mean you're surprisingly calm for someone who is getting married in just over 48 hours" Gray asked timidly. We were bringing up the rear as we made our way to customs. "I'm alright, are you excited?!?" I replied. "Yeah, I've never been to Hawaii before! I have been planning on what to do, other than going to your wedding of course..." Gray chatted to me enthusiastically. I stopped paying attention to him which made me feel guilty. The truth I wasn't okay. I was completely freaking out.

I had a ton of what ifs running through my head. What if Owen decides he doesn't want to marry me anymore. What if we all die in a plane crash. What if the dress doesn't fit. What if no one turns up. I know most the scenarios are pretty drastic but I've always had a wild imagination. "Aunt Claire are you even listening?!¿" Gray snapped. "Yeah, of course. It all sounds like a lot of fun" I made out as if I'd been concentrating the whole time.

Just as Gray said customs took just over 20 minutes. We still had about half an hour to kill. Karen was desperate to go shopping at the duty free and I decided it would be a good idea to tag along. We left the boys and Olivia at a coffee shop.

There was no better way to describe Karen other than a kid in a candy store. I followed her into what seemed to be an endless variety of stores. Usually I would take advantage of duty free but I couldn't shift Owen and the wedding off my mind. I sat down on the provided seating in Jimmy Choo; my favourite shoe shop. "Claire, what's bothering you? You normally like shopping and you're sitting down in your favourite shoe shop!! What is going on?!?" Karen sounded concerned. "I just have stuff on my mind" I replied blankly.

I was scared beyond belief but not like I was at Jurassic World. I was scared that I was gonna lose Owen.
I mean what if he gets bored of me after we tie the knot¿!? "Claire, you and Owen will be just fine. I'm not going to lie it does get rough sometimes but trust me when I say this. You and Owen are meant for each other. You would know if you see the way he looks at you" Karen explained sitting down next me. "Did I really say that last bit out loud?" I said blushing. "I'm afraid you did, now let's buy some shoes" Karen laughed lightly.

As embarrassing as it was, I was glad that I had spoke aloud instead of thinking it my head. Karen had helped me to feel better. She had given me the school girl feeling again; the butterflies in the stomach. Did Owen really look at me the way all girls want to be looked at¿!? I couldn't help but smile at the thought.

I ended up buying a casual pair of heels and of course they were from Jimmy Choo and Karen had purchased a handbag at Mulberry. We went back to the coffee shop to find Owen, Scott and Zach all asleep resting against each other. "Finally you're back, they all fell asleep and leaving a 2 month old baby under the supervision of a 12 year old" Gray stressed. I couldn't help but snigger "just...look...at them" I managed. Gray and Karen started laughing with me and I pulled my phone.

I just had to take a picture. They all jumped as the flash went off.

"Hey! Not cool" Zach pouted.

"I swear, I only had my eyes shut for 2 minutes" Owen tried to style it out.

"I'm just gonna be honest. I fell asleep" Scott commented.

Their remarks just made me laugh harder. As I was calming myself down I noticed Owen looking at me. My heart skipped a beat and I'm pretty sure I felt myself blush. That was the look Karen was talking about. It made me weak at the knees, it was enough to make anyone melt.

"Right, let's go board our plane" I smiled regaining my focus. Owen slid his arm round my waist as we headed to our gate. Karen was absolutely right, I had nothing to worry about. We were going to be just fine. Everything always fell perfectly in place when I was with Owen. Well, eventually Anyways. His arm slotted easily around my back; supporting me as his touch made me forget myself.

We arrived at the a couple of minutes after the gate was opened for boarding. Despite this it seemed that we were last as we stood at the back of a very long queue. " 'feeling alright now?" Owen asked sensitively. "Yeah" I beamed back. "Good" he smirked before connecting his lips with mine.

I gasped as it took me by surprise. Owen immediately took advantage of this and slipped his warm tongue into my mouth. He leaned in deepening the kiss. I dropped my bags and placed my hand on his chest. I longed for Owen to hold me but he couldn't as he was still carrying Olivia in her basket. Owen's spare arm was still curled around my delicate waist. His hand felt rough against the small of my back but it comforted me.

"Ahem" I instantly pulled away from Owen at the sound of Zach's obvious cough. Owen chuckled as I immediately became flustered and felt my cheeks burn. "Errm, sorry" I managed to mumble out, whilst staring at the ground. "Mum says we're boarding now" Zach seemed as embarrassed as I was. "Let's go then" I said picking up my bags.

"Here we come, Hawaii!" Gray shouted as he ran down the tunnel leading to the plane.
