i had a dream about you
and it seems they're becoming more frequent
maybe it's my subconscious
telling me to make amends
with the person who no longer
resides in my closet
the fact of the matter is
i'm not sure i have a way to contact you
even if i wanted to
i remember saying something
in passing in the hallways
and you stopped me
and said something along the lines of
wanting to talk
my heart was racing
and i was anxious
but i nodded and walked off
i had a dream about you
and whether or not the frequency is real
in most of them we work together
and why my subconscious
is trying to teach me lessons im well aware of
is a wonder to me
i had a dream about you

it wasn't as terrifying as it was before
