7 months later.
I haven't moved on, no. He hasn't come back yet though.
I'm now 20 and I still am in charge of Milly. She's never left me and never will. Milly and I have moved into a nice house in a lovely neighbourhood. She goes to kindergarten and has made new friends who care about her. I've made my own business which is photography and I get paid quite a lot. I'm the boss of my own job so that's a good thing.
"Come on Milly are you ready for school?" I shout. I fix up my hair cause it was very frizzy.
"I'm coming Lia!" Did I mention that she's 5 now? She's grown so much over these past few months. She comes running down the stairs in a white dress with little flowers on it and white sandals. She's got style. I French braid her hair and then we leave.
"Bye baby, I'll see you after school." I huge her as usual and she runs off to play with her friends. I go back to my car and drive to my business.
"Hey Aaliyah, we've got a big photoshoot today at 1 at the memorial hall. How many people do we need for it?" My co owner, Luke says. I look at the order.
"We only need about 6 okay. Let's et moving then so we can set everything up." He nods and rushes off. I go and get my professional camera and stuff and pack them. Everyone rushes around and gets everything ready. We get in the can and drive off to the hall.
"Okay so there's about 70 people taking photos. We need one of each of them and then a group photo." Like says. I nod.
"Hey uh what is this for anyways?" He smiles at me.
"You will find out okay." I look at him weirdly and the rest of the crew comes and sets everything up. The clock slowly turns to one and a few people come in. They're wearing the USA army clothes. I start to panic a little.
"Luke what's going on?" I look at him and he walks over to me.
"Please Aaliyah promise me you won't freak out."
"I'm not making any promises Luke. What the hell is going on?" A few more people walk through the door and a familiar voice calls out to me.
"LIA!" I turn and see Milly running towards me. What was she doing here?
"Hey baby I thought you were at school." She shakes her head.
"Cammy came and got me. He's back from War Land." I look up and see Cameron. He's changed so much since I last saw him. He's taller, he's grown a little beard, his arms in a little thing that holds your arm when it's hurt or something. He seems different as well.
"Cameron?" He nods and I start crying. I shake my head and run towards him. I jump up at him and hug him. He manages to stay stable after I almost tackled him to the ground.
"Hey Aaliyah." I look at him and did something I haven't done in ages.
I kissed him.
