Today is Milly's funeral. I found out how she died as well, Lydia strangled her to death. At least she's being put in prison. I hate her with all my guts. She an definitely make life a living hell.
"Hey are you ready?" Maria walks in. She was holding Lily.
"Can I hold her?" She nods and hands me Lily.
"You know I think you and Cameron would make a cute baby. Girl or boy, it would be cute." I laugh.
"We're not thinking about having kids yet."
"Lia, I can see you want a child. You were always like a mother to Milly and you treat Lily like your own. I've seen Cameron always look at you when you hold Lily. The look of 'I wish we were a family'. I think you guys are ready." I shake my head and hand her Lily.
"It's going to be hard for me. I'm still trying to et through this Milly thing." She puts her hand on my shoulder.
"I'm not pushing you into this, but you guys would have a cute baby. Now come on and lets get this funeral over with." I nod and we walk out of the house. All the boys were waiting outside for us.
"Are you okay baby?" I nod and hug Cameron's arm. Nash drives us to the service and j take deep breaths the whole way.

"Today we mourn the death of a young child. Milly Prior. We pray for a good afterlife for you and a nice place up in heaven for you Milly." We take a moment to pray and then continue. "One of Milly's closest relatives will now give a speech. Aaliyah Highland." I let go of Cameron's arm and walk up to the podium."Milly was only my foster sister but to me she was my real sister. I cared so much for her. She was my sunshine on the cloudiest days, she could always brighten my day.
It hurts me to know that she's gone as well. She may be gone physically but in our hearts she will be there forever, eternity. Taking up a big place in our hearts.
One of my best memories with Milly was when she was a baby. Lydia had gone out and I was home taking care of her three children. Milly was the youngest of course. She had never spoken but this one particular night her first word was Lia. Not mommy or mom, Lia. That was one of the best moments ever and I will cherish it forever.
Milly we will miss you. You will always be here though. And no matter what, you will always be my sister." I place a small bouquet of roses on top of her coffin and sit back next to Cameron."You did a good job." He says and kisses my forehead. I smile and let the tears out as others give small speeches.
The service finally came to an end. Nash, Matt, Maria, Lily and Cam all came back to my house. As soon as I walked into the house, I made my way up the steps and towards my room. On my way I passed Milly's. Her purple curtains, unmade bed, messy floor. Everything was her. I cry and walk into my room. I change into a big sweater and boxers. I put my hair in a messy bun and remove all my make up. I crawl up into my bed and cry. I'm going to be like this for a while.
