Rylee POV
I wake up to the realization that I am being forced to marry Ethan today and that their is nothing I can do to stop it. "Come on honey we have to get you fixed up for you soon to be husband," my mom says as she come into my room. "Mom do I have to, I mean it's not even a wedding we don't love each other," I say not really feeling like dressing up. "Yes you have to, don't you want to look good for you husband?" Mom ask in a scolding tone. "Why it's not going to make any difference I'm just a kid in his eyes," I say shrugging my shoulders. "Trust me honey that want last long," she say with excitement in her voice. "Whatever mom just tell me what to wear," I say not wanting to deal with the drama any longer.

As we make it to the small chapel where the wedding will be held I felt as though I was going to be sick. "Honey you look beautiful," dad says as I walk into the chapel. "Thanks," I say quickly as I try to keep my voice from cracking. "I would like to introduce you to Ethan's half sister Skyler James," dad say as he pulls me in front of a girl who looked to be the same age as me then leaves me alone with her. "Hi you must be Rylee, I can't believe my brother is getting married," she say in excitement. "Yes I am and trust me nether one of us wanted to marry the other, but unfortunately we don't have a choice." I say in an irritated tone. "Well one good thing about marrying him is now you have me as a sister and we are going to be best friends especially since we will be going to the same school," she say before giving me a quick hug.

"You girls will have to finish talking later because it's almost time for the wedding to begin and we have to get Rylee in position," my mom say as she begins to lead me away. "Remember smile and keep your eyes on Ethan," mom says as she hands me off to dad just as the music begins.

Ethan POV
As Rylee begin to make her way down the isle my breath caught in my throat at how beautiful she looked in her strapless white gown that reached just above her knees. As we said our vows
I couldn't take my eyes off of her and at the moment I didn't care that the marriage was arranged. "You may now kiss your bride," the preacher said to me and I hesitated for a moment not sure what to do. "Kiss her," my dad whispers to me. I lean in as just as my lips where about to touch hers she turns her head and I kiss her cheek instead. "I now pronounce you husband and wife," the preacher says. Rylee links her arm in mine and we make our way out of the church and as soon as the doors shut behind us she yanked her arm from mine. "Can we go home now," she ask with anger in her voice. "We can't my dad paid for us a honeymoon in Florida and our plane leaves in an hour," I tell her starting to get angry from her attitude.

We make it to the small beach house where we will be staying for the weekend and Rylee storms into the house slamming the door behind her. I grab our things from the car, make my way into the house, and place the bags just inside the door. "Rylee I'm going out," I call out but didn't get any reply back from her. I quickly change into some normal clothes and head out to find the nearest bar I could find wanting to drink away the events of the day.

Rylee POV
I was just so angry from being forced to marry Ethan and then being stuck here all weekend with him that I stormed into the house without saying a word to him. I just wanted to block out the events of today hoping that if I go to sleep that I will up to it all just being a dream. I went to sleep almost as soon as my head hit the pillow and I woke up several hours later to find that I was here alone.

After quickly changing me clothes I head to the beach to walk and watch the sun set. As I walk I feel tears fall from my eyes as the events from the day come back to haunt me. I wasn't really paying attention to where I was walking until I feel myself run into someone. "Whoa are you ok," a guy says as I feel someone catch me and keep me from falling. "No thanks to you," I say angrily as I see I look up to see two guys one holding my arm and another there beside him. "I'm sorry me and my friend here where just goofing around and we weren't paying attention to where we were going," the guy standing there says to me apologetically. "I'm Alex and this here is Justin," he say holding his hand out for me to shake. "I'm Rylee and you to need to be more careful you could have hurt someone," I say taking my arm from Justin and shaking Alex hand. "Look how would you like to join us and some more of our friends we are having a bonfire just down the beach a little ways," Alex ask as I slowly remove my hand from his. "Sure," I say not having anything better to do and besides it may help me get my mind off the marriage thing.

As I begin to follow them I take my wedding ring off my finger and place it in my pocket. "So are you both from around here?" I ask trying to start up a conversation. "No actually Justin and I both are from Arkansas," he say before asking, "are you from here?" "No actually I from Arkansas also," I say wondering how I had never met them before. "Really that's awesome maybe we go to the same school?" Alex ask as we finally make it to the bonfire which was a few houses down form the one I was staying at. "I actually am switching schools, I start going to Richmond Prep after spring break," I tell him as he leads me to the fire. "That's were I go I'm actually the captain of the football team there," he say as we sit beside each other.

We sat and talked for what seemed like forever before he took my hand and led me away from the party. "I really like you," he says as he pulls me close to him. "Really?" I ask puzzled at why a guy like him would like me. "Really!" he says as his lips get closer to mine. My breath catches in my throat as I feel the anticipation of his lips on mine. His lips meet mine and he kiss me softly as his hand is tangled in my hair.

"Do you want me to walk you back to your place?" Alex as sweetly and I nod my head yes. We walk hand in hand the rest of the way to the beach house until we make it to the door. "Would you like to hang out with me again tomorrow?" He asked before I could open the door. "Yes I would like that, pick me up around ten?" I ask. "I'll be here," he says before kissing me quickly on the cheek and leaving me to walk into the house.

"Do you realize it's after midnight?" Ethan ask angrily as soon as I made it inside the house. "So your not my father I can do what I want," I scream at him angrily. "No you can't the moment you married me I became responsible for you," he say coming up to me with his fist balled up in anger. "Well newsflash I didn't choose to marry you so how about I live my life and you live yours," I say as I turn to walk away from him. He grab my arm preventing me from leaving. "Were is you ring," I asked angrily pointing to my empty finger. "I took it off," I say shrugging my shoulders. "Put it back on," he say demanding. "No and why do you care if I wear it or not its not like this marriage is real?" I ask him angrily. "I don't care I just don't want you to lose it," he say with the look of shock that came over his eyes but it quickly disappeared. I took the ring out of my pocket and threw it at his head. He stood there shocked and confused, I took this time to run the room and lock the door behind me.

Ethan POV
As she threw the ring at me I knew I had pushed her to far but there was no way I was going to admit that I am developing feelings for her because she is just a kid. I place the ring in my pocket and decide I will deal with this all later because all that really matters is that's she is here now and is safe. As I get to the room were both Rylee and I will be sleeping I realize she had locked the door. Not wanting to wake her I grab a blanket for the closet and make my way to the living room to sleep on the couch.
