20- Try Moving On

Rylee POV
"I can't believe we are going home for the summer and you aren't even going to try and get Ethan back,"Camron say still not happy about mine and Ethan's break-up. "Yeah Rylee I'm telling you he has been sick over you," Skyler speaks up. "Skyler who told you that because since he is the one who broke it off with me I highly doubt he's crying over me." I say getting angry from them butting into my relationship. "Rylee come on you and Ethan are meant to be together don't let that just slip away," Skyler begs me. "Can we please just drop it," I demand angrily. "Fine we will drop it for now, but this isn't the end of this conversation." Camron say quickly before returning her focus back to driving.

"What do you mean we are having Ethan and his parents out for dinner tonight?" I ask my father angrily. "Because we think it will be good for you guys to try and work things out," he say in a serous tone. "But dad we are over and I really would like if you would all just accept that fact and let us move on with our lives," I plead with him. "I'm sorry Rylee but this dinner is happening and I would like if you would be on your best behavior," he says just as my mom walks in. "Mom please talk him out of this dinner?" I beg of her. "Maybe she is right because the James's just called giving a heads up that Ethan's is bringing a girl with him tonight," she informs my father. "See dad he has moved on, now can't I do the same?" I say begging him once more to change his mind. "I'm sorry sweetheart we are not canceling but you may bring someone if it will help you feel more comfortable," he tells me before leading me out of his office. "Fine then I will," I say deciding that two could play Ethan's game.  

"I was shocked that you called me to come to dinner tonight," Alex says as we walk into the restaurant. "I knew I just needed time to think and I decided I should allow myself to move on and be happy," I say giving his hand a squeeze. "Well I'm glad you called because I really think me and you can make this work," he says before placing a quick kiss on my cheek. "Alright if you will follow us your guest are waiting," the waiter says as he begins to lead us to our table. As soon as we made it to the table I spot Ethan sitting at the table with a beautiful dark haired girl sitting next to him and they were all over each other as if they had no idea anyone else was in the room. I quickly look away fighting back tears as I feel as though my heart being ripped into pieces. "Rylee are you ok?" Alex asked me as he notices my broken state. "Yeah I'll be fine," I say as I give him a forced smile. "Rylee don't lie to me I know you loved him and it can't be easy seeing him all over some other girl," he say pulling me into his arms hugging me close. "I'm so sorry you have to deal with me like this, I know this isn't what you expect and I will understand if you want to leave," I say my voice muffled in his chest. "Shh the only way I'm leaving here is if you go with me," he say causing me to look up at him. "You are really going to do this for me?" I ask in shock. "I would do anything to make you happy," he say before claiming my lips in his kissing me gently. "Are you too going to stand there kissing all day or are you doing to sit down so we can order our food," I hear Ethan as angrily. "Sorry we thought this is what we came here for because that sure what it looked like seeing you and your new fling sucking each other faces," Alex snapped at Ethan causing me to have to fight back my laughter. "Alright boys that enough, Rylee you and Alex take your seats," my father speaks up stopping the feuding. "Thanks for that," I lean in and whisper to Alex once we are seated. "Your welcome," he say as we both fight our laughter.

We had all begin to eat when suddenly Ethan's girlfriend Hannah I think I was knocked her drink over on purpose causing it to spill all over me. I jump up quickly screaming ,"you whore you did that on purpose." "No I did not your paranoid no wonder Ethan dropped you," she say causing me to get ready to jump on her. "Rylee just go to the bathroom and clean yourself up," my dad demand as he steps in-between me and Hannah. "Fine," I say angrily as I stop off to the bathroom. After cleaning myself up the best I could I step out of the bathroom only to be pulled into the guys bathroom. I was about to scream when suddenly a hand was over my mouth and my back was against the wall. "Don't scream it's just me," I hear Ethan say causing me to open my eyes as the panic begin to slowly disappear. "Now I'm going to remove my hand do you promise not to scream?" Ethan whispered into my ear his hot breath sending a shiver down my spine but I managed to shake my head yes. "Why did you pull me in here," I said trying to sound angry but failing miserably. "I wanted to see if you were ok," he said nonchalantly. "If that's all then why did you drag me in here," I asked him as I try to read his eyes. "I had to know if I still had a shot of winning you back," he whispers in my ear as he trails his fingers down my neck. "You have a girlfriend remember and I'm here with Alex, plus you were the one that broke things off between us," I say trying to stay strong and ignore the feelings and sparks from his every touch. "Ethan we can't do this," I managed to get out but didn't do anything to push him away. "If you don't want this then why don't you push me away?" He asked before placing his lips on mine kissing me hungrily.

After sleeping with Ethan in the bathroom I felt dirty and hated walking back to the table. "There you are I was just on my way to check on you," Alex said as I make it back to the table. "I'm fine," I say as I take my seat back at he table. "Your dad and Ethan's dad sent Ethan and his girl home," Alex says as I notice Ethan didn't come back with me. "Good," I say honestly not wanting Alex and Ethan to be in the same room right now. "Rylee you and Alex may go too if you would like," my dad said to me kindly. "Thanks," I say and Alex took my hand as we make our way to his car. As we being to leave the parking lot I spot Ethan leaned against his car and the whore from early is all over him as they have a public make out session. "I think I'm going to be sick," I say causing Alex to pull over the car, I get out and begin emptying the contents of my stomach. "Are you ok," Alex says handing me a bottle of water. "I'm fine," I say before drinking down some water. "Can you just take me home?" I ask him just wanting to go home and shower not only to get rid of the sticky from the coke but to get rid of all traces of Ethan from tonight.

OMG this chapter was crazy can you believe Ethan sleeping with Rylee then making out with his girl friend only moments later? Poor Rylee.
