Scott drove to the Starbucks on the college campus the next day after he and Mitch's talk. He had thought it over all the following night; it wasn't like he could sleep anyways.
He couldn't quit everything to go to New York. But who else would help him cry out his ugly tears? Alexander would...he was sure that nobody else had ever seen him so vulnerable other than Mitch.
But that's because they lived together.Today, he had made his decision. He had to decide what he couldn't live without.
He just hoped that the decision he stood by was the right one.
He parked, and felt his body tense when he saw Alexander walking out after his shift. He honked hesitantly to get Alex's attention.
Alex looked up, and he grabbed his bike before running it over to Scott's car. Scott rolled down his window, and he pecked Alex's lips.
"My head has been straightened."
"Are you driving me home?"
"Yeah. Because I want to talk."
"What's to talk about?"
"Allie..." Scott frowned. Alex rolled his eyes, going to the back of Scott's car where he set his bike on the bike rack. He then jogged over and sat in the passenger seat.
"Do you need anything before I drive you back?"
"No. Just drive."
