"whoever just sat on me needs to go away because i'm trying to sleep." I said it they didn't move.

i was too tired to open my eyes, and i was too lazy to push them off.

"please I'll give you a dollar" I mumbled.

Then I heard my phone ringing. I shot up and knocked down whoever was on me.

I heard them groan in pain. I ran to the noise of my phone until I found it.

It was an unknown number but I still answered it just in case.

'Hello?' I answered. Then a machine started playing and I sighed in annoyance.

I hung up and plugged my phone into the charger.

I turned around and ran straight into Cameron and fell onto my back for the second time today.

My back still hurt from earlier.

"who called you?" He asked as I held my back in pain.

"why are you so nosy?" i asked.

"just answer the question" he rolled his eyes.

"some random number i don't know" i groaned.

"then why did you answer it?" He asked curiously.

"In case it was my dad calling me or a famous person calling me. I don't know, lots of reasons. Why do you care so much?" I asked, standing up on my own since Cameron wouldn't help me.

"i don't want you to answer the phone if you don't know who it is. understand?" He asked.

"no what the hell? what if it's my dad calling me"

"kylie" He said clearly frustrated.

"no cameron. i don't have to listen to you." I said, rolling my eyes.

"yes, you do have to listen to me, and i don't want you answering phone calls to random numbers. you never know who it could be."

"exactly. i never know who it could be. what if it's my dad?" I said walking away.

"hey get back here. where are you going?" He raised his voice.

"hell, see you there." I said walking to a random part of the jack's house.

i came across a lounge room and found jj in there playing COD.

"hey jack-"

"KYLIE!" I heard Cameron.

"shit. where do I hide?" I asked in a panic.

"uhh under the beanbag." he shoved one on top of me.

the door soon swung open.

"have you seen kylie?" Cameron said.

"no dude. sorry" He said.

"jack can you help me? I really need to prove to my mom I'm responsible.but it's literally been like 3 days and I can't take it anymore. I'm doing the best I can and she's just a pain in the ass"

thanks cameron.

"dude girls are like that sometimes. but it's not the end of the world. chill. imagine how she feels right now. she left her whole life behind in arizona to come live here with you. plus she doesn't know if her dad is for sure coming back. and her mom died at such a young age okay. just lay off a little man"

FINALLY. SOMEONE WHO UNDERSTANDS ME.

"i know but" Cameron started. and of course he decided to sit on the bean bag I was hiding under.

"cam, this isn't fun for her either. she doesn't have any friends here. she has to live with you and all of your guy friends. she is following your rules and doing whatever you want to do" jack interrupted

"But she doesn't have to be a bitch about it" cameron mumbled.

ouch, that hurt.

"i just think you could be a little less strict. i mean, if this was you, you'd be a bitch too. now leave so i can play cod"

"you're right. thanks j" cam said getting up and leaving.

as soon as he got up and left I ran over to Jack.

"hey, sorry about that" he said pulling me into a hug.

"I didn't know he felt that way about me."

"just give him some time to adapt. he doesn't understand right now, but he will eventually."
jj reassured me.

"you're right. sorry" i mumbled.

"you have nothing to be sorry about."

"what am I supposed to do? i don't want him to think i'm a bitch." i groaned.

"don't do anything about it. if cam thinks that, it's his choice. you shouldn't do anything about it. you are who you are. don't worry about what other people think." jack smiled

"why can't I live with you this summer instead of cameron?" I groaned and he laughed.

"I think you and cam will get along soon."

"yeah-no" I said.

"just give it time. but i'm hungry. let's go eat" jack said standing up.

"no I'm not hungry." i said, not moving from the spot i was in.

"really? i'm starving. do you ever eat though? you're tiny." he teased.

i could tell my face was heating up and my mouth started becoming dry and my palms starting sweating.

I opened my mouth to speak but I couldn't.

"I-um, well uh-"

"Shit sorry. Oh my gosh I didn't know. I'm sorry" He said tugging at his hair.

"no jack. i'm not- no. it's just not what you're thinking." i said quickly.

"okay well if you ever want to talk about it, i'm here"

"thanks j" i smiled

"oh and one more thing" i said before he walked out of the door.

"yes?" he raised his eyebrows.

"please don't tell cameron about this conversation." i begged.

"promise. it's our secret. my lips are sealed." he pretended to lock his lips and throw the key away. i rolled my eyes at how lame he is.
