it's already 6 days into the tour and i'm exhausted.

the shows are boring because i just sit backstage. it's annoying because we only get one hour of sleep since we never go to bed and we have to get up hella early.

today's show was going to be really long for some reason that i forgot. so i decided to sleep backstage during it.

worst decision of my life.

when i woke up all of the guys were crowded around and taking pictures of me. i looked like shit and now the whole world was going to see it.

"what the fuck?" i questioned.

"sorry you just look adorable when you sleep so we thought we should show our fans" matt chuckled with a big smile on his face.

"no. i look like shit and i'm going to get so much hate. please don't" i urged them not to.

"too late" jg said.

"where's cameron" i noticed he wasn't with everyone.

"i don't know. when the show ended he got a call and i haven't seen him since." nash said.

i got up from the couch and started roaming around backstage. there were a bunch of doors leading to rooms that cameron could possibly be in.

finally i turned a corner and saw him sitting up against a wall rubbing his eyes.

"there you are. i was looking for you" i sat down next to cameron.

he didn't move. his head was still buried into his hands and he didn't even look alive because you could barely see him breathe.

"cameron are you okay?" i asked with worry in my voice.

he just nodded his head and took a deep breath then he stood up and pulled me along with him.

"let's go get some lunch. just you and me" he said.

i followed him out the back and into a car.

"is waffle house okay?" he asked.

"yesssss i love waffle house" i chuckled.

i plugged my phone into the aux and blared music through the speakers.

"kylie are you okay" cameron asked.

i laughed and almost spit out my waffle.

"of course i'm fine. why wouldn't i be?" i smiled.

"never mind. just making sure" cameron said as he wiped his mouth.

"cameron are you okay?" i asked.

"i'm more than okay. i'm on tour with my favorite people while i meet my favorite people.  nothing could be better" cameron smiled softly.

"okay just making sure" i giggled.

"how do you like touring?" he asked me.

"it's kind of overwhelming and traveling everyday gets exhausting. i never realized how much work you have to put into this." i said honestly.

"ya it really wears you out. but hey, at least we only have a week left and then we get to go home and chill"

"i want to go home so bad" i groaned.

"well i'm sorry. we can soon. and then you can see hayley and asher and audrey and all your little friends." cameron teased.

"i really like hayley. she is my closest friend since i don't really have any." i mumbled in embarrassment.

"hayley is my favorite. she always has been and she always will be. she is such a good influence on you and hayes."

"i'm really glad hayes introduced me to his friends" i smiled.

"and in really glad you are enjoying yourself here." he smiled back.

"but there is something i need to talk to you about. it's very serious."

"okay i can handle anything. come at me"

"well i don't really know any other way to say this but they found your dad. but he is in very bad condition"

"how bad of condition?" i asked.

"very bad. he uh could possibly die." cameron hesitated.

"no. this is not true stop. he promised me he would come back."

"that's the thing. he promised you he would come back. and he did."

"what are you talking about?" i was so confused.

"he came back because he made you a promise. but he's in critical condition in a hospital in Los Angeles."

"can i go see him? please cameron" i begged.

"i knew you would ask this. and the next flight to los angeles is at 6. so i can take you back the hotel right now and you can pack up if you want." he offered.

"i would like that please." i said softly.

we left waffle house and the ride back to the hotel was silent. i had nothing to say and i think cameron was trying to give me some space.

it was time to go. the plane was about to take off.

"okay when you get there my sister sierra is going to be there to pick you up. you remember her right?" cameron asked.

"yes. we have gone over this so many times okay i understand. i need to go. bye cameron i'll see you back at home." i gave him a hug before leaving.
