unexpected

Nine

Today was another one of those days where I was dragged along to one of Cameron's play dates with all of his friends.

This time it was at Matthews house. we were currently playing hide and seek around the neighborhood. I was on a team with Matthew and Hayes.

We were hiding in some bushes near entrance of the street.

I heard footsteps and voices get closer to us.

"shhhh be quiet" I heard Matthew tell us.

"we weren't even talking" Hayes argued back.

"guys shut up they are going to find us." I told them.

I could now see the feet standing outside of the bushes.

"found ya!" I heard the jacks say as they tore the bushes open.

"Okay we found them can we go back to the house and play Fifa now?" Nash complained.

"Yea I guess. it is getting dark" Matthew said as we walked back to the house.

it's been about an hour and these Fifa games got intense.

Nash threw the controller at Hayes but carter ducked so it hit me in the knee and now there is a bruise that is forming there. And it was the same knee that I hurt when I fell down the steps.

"Hey Kylie can we uh talk?" Cameron asked me as everyone else was watching the Fifa game.

I nodded my head and followed him into the other room.

"Okay first off I just want to start off and say I'm sorry about everything that happened yesterday." he started off.

I nodded continued to listen to him.

"and I'm sorry for all of the times that we kept getting in fights. the only reason I don't want you answering the phone to random people is because like what if it's some psycho killer that is calling you. but now I understand that you only answer because it might be your dad. Just be careful when you  answer the phone. make sure you are looking at where it's coming from because if it's not in and area your dad would be then please don't answer it." he said.

"Okay and I'm really sorry too. for just causing so much trouble and everything I've done. I'm sorry that I get really moody sometimes too" I laughed.

"Yay I'm so happy we are on good terms now" Cameron said as he embraced me into a hug.

I just rolled my eyes and laughed.

"We were going to order some pizza for dinner. are you hungry?" he asked.

"Kinda but I mean we had pizza last night" I groaned.

"But pizza is so good!!" Cameron gasped.

"Not if you've had it the last 4 days" I smiled

"Okay well then you can have mac and cheese" he said as we walked back into the living room.

"Hey uh Kylie your laptop kept going off" Hayes said.

"You brought your laptop?" Nash asked.

"Yea I bring it everywhere" I said as I opened it up seeing I had 2 missed skype calls from my dad.

"Matthew where is a quiet room I can go to skype someone?" I asked.

"any room down that hallway" he said pointing towards some random hallway.

I walked to the first bedroom on the right and called my dad back.

"Hey sweetie!" he answered.
