Chapter 9

Padge's P.O.V

I woke up during the night to a loud bang thinking Poppy fell out of the bed or something but she was fast asleep beside me, I got up to investigate and then I noticed smoke coming through the door. I quickly woke Poppy up and got her to get dressed, she was so scared, I then helped her outside, luckily Matt and Arejay heard the bang too and they reacted quickly and woke up the others, when we all got out safetly, we realised we forgot Morticia and Moose. I ran back in, with no regard for my own safety and found Moose passed out in the kitchen, he was obviously trying to save Morticia too. I picked him up and Morticia too and I made my way back out battling the thick smoke and flames. I finally battled through to outside, I could hear sirens but then everything went black.

Matt's P.O.V

It was about 5am and I heard this almighty thud and crash, I looked down and Lzzy was fast asleep so I woke her up, she luckily fell asleep in the clothes she was wearing on the town, she wasn't happy about being woken up but then she went into full panic mode when we saw the smoke and fire, she panicked for her brother, her band mates, Bullet guys and Poppy and Olivia. Luckily Arejay and Padge heard the bang too, we all helped bring everyone out, then we realised Moose and Morticia were not here and Padge with no regard for his own life ran back into the house to retrieve them both . Sirens were heard, some of the neighbours must of rang the fire brigade, ambos n police. Poppy was hysterical worrying about Padge, she was on her knees, seeing her house burn to the ground, her whole life was in that house, her whole work, her future with Padge, finally we saw him come back out with Moose under his arm and carrying Morticia, Moose was able to walk now to us all and Morticia ran over to Poppy, but then Padge just collapsed in a heap. Poppy let out the biggest screams as we all rushed over to him. He was covered in black sut, he had minor burns on his hands... Come on Padge wake up please!!!!

Poppy's P.O.V

The fire guys came first and quickly put out the fire but it was too late to save my house, everything was gone, but I didn't care, my main concern was Padge who had collapsed, I wouldn't leave his side until the ambos came. Olivia and Lzzy tried their best to comfort me but nothing was gonna make me feel better till Padge was given the all clear and wakes up. The cops wanted to talk to me but I didn't wanna talk and went with Matt with the ambos to London Bridge Hospital. It was an agonising wait as the doctors and nurses fussed over Padge, the others had come in a taxi and had left Morticia with a neighbour for me. Finally half hour later the doctor came out to us all, he said Padge had suffered really minor burns but inhaled alot of smoke so he would not be able to talk or sing for a few weeks. We told him about the concert but he advised against Padge taking part in it. What were the band gonna do now.

Matt's P.O.V

Hearing from the doctors that Padge is advised not to participate in our gig later tonight was heartbreaking, he is gonna be gutted, do we cancel and leave fans down or should we try get someone to play in his place. We are going to America in 2 days, does that mean its in jeopardy too? Fuck whoever done this to Poppy's house, although it doesn't really take a genius to know who it was, that prick ex of hers Adam, I told the cops about him and how he has being bombarding her with phone calls even though there is an AVO against him. They are going to look into him and hopefully arrest his sorry ass. Poppy was so shocked, she actually was staring into space, I went over and sat beside her and pulled her into a hug.

Lzzy' P.O.V

This is so awful, my heart is going out to Poppy, after all her sweet kindness she showed towards us all, giving us a few days in proper beds and letting us chill in her place feeding us all and putting up with our wild rock star ways, in a matter of moments, some prick rips it from under her and to make things worse have made things difficult for Bullet themselves as Padge was advised not to play tomorrow night. This poor girl has being through enough shit and now this, life indeed sucks!

Arejay: Hey guys, I know its bad for me to say this but Synester Gates could play for Padge tomorrow night as they in town for there gig the following day.

Moose: Best ask Padge first, you know what he is like, he stubborn and probably will play anyway.

Arejay: Yeah I know

Matt's P.O.V

The doctor finally came out again and said Padge has woken up, so we were allowed 2 at a time, so myself and Poppy went in first. He smiled once he saw Poppy come in, she embraced him in a hug. The nurses gave him a mini board and marker so he could communicate with us. He started writing for Poppy!

Padge: Is the house OK?

Poppy: No babe, its all gone!

Padge: I'm so sorry

Poppy; Not Ur fault

Padge: Do they know who's fault it is?

Matt: I told cops it could be Adam, I mean who else could it be?

Padge: I guess so, listen I know I was advised not to play tomorrow

Matt: Yeah, what you wanna do?

Padge: Obv I wanna play but I don't wanna put America in jeporady

Matt: Synester is in town if U want him to play for you tomorrow?

Padge: Might be for the best

Matt: Want me to ring him?

Padge: Yeah

So I told Padge I will go tell the boys and we all went into the waiting room to ring him.

Brian(Synester gates): Hey Matt, what's going on?

Matt: Hey listen heard Ye were in town, I was wondering if you can spare your services tomorrow?

Brian: Why? What's happened? We came early to catch ye're gig tomorrow!

Matt: That's what I'm ringing you for, could you play with us for Padge?

Brain: What happened?

Matt: We all staying over in Padge's girlfriends house and it got arsoned there tonight, unfortunately Padge suffered with smoke inhalation and has being advised not to play.

Brian: Fucking hell man, is he OK?

Matt: Yeah he fine, he not able to talk or sing for few days but OK

Brian: It will be an honour to play for Ye so, I know pretty much all ye're songs, even a few from Temper Temper album

Matt: Brilliant thanks so much

Brian: What hospital is he in? We will come visit in the morning!

Matt: London Bridge Hospital.

Brian: OK we see Ye there tomorrow

I go back into Padge and let him know Syn will do gig for us and that they all coming in tomorrow. Myself and Poppy were told to leave 2 more people to come in so we left after Padge got a kiss from Poppy and then Moose and Jai went inside. When they were finished, it was Arejay and Lzzy's turn and then Joe and Josh, then Poppy went back in with Olivia until we were told visiting times were over. We all left for the tour buses to stay for the night. Poppy came into my bunk for some comfort but I knew she wasn't gonna sleep at all.
