Chapter 20

Poppy's P.O.V

I went downstairs with Morticia and decided to cross the street by over to the walkway beside the river Liffey. I took Morticia over the bridge and found a bit of grass on the other side for her to do her business. I picked it up and binned it and then decided to sit down on the bench, to have a little break from the others for a few minutes, that was all ruined when I felt a hand on my shoulder.

Poppy: Jason, what you doing here?

Jason: I just came to check on you, I know your collapse was partly my fault and I just want everything to go back to where we were good friends and nothing more

A small smile formed on my face and he suddenly smiled too, I go in for a hug and he held on tight of me.

Jason: I can never express how sorry I am to you Pops, I know you love Padge and I will never stand in your way

Poppy: What? So you do like me?

Jason: Yeah but its my problem and I will deal with, I much prefer to have you in my life forever as a really good friend than having everyone hate me for fucking up things between you and Padge and us more than likely never working out.

Poppy: Jason, me and you would never work, you are cute, don't get me wrong but Jason I'm only 26 years old man, you are midway to being 50

Jason: Please don't remind me

Poppy: Sorry, but I do only see all of Ye guys as big older protective brothers that I never had before.

Jason: OK I got it, so are you gonna come out with us tonight?

Poppy: No Jason I'm not, I'm not feeling the best and my liver needs a break.

Jason: OK, just not gonna be same going out without you.

Poppy: Sorry

Jason: Its fine hun, right come on, you coming back to hotel?

Poppy: Yeah

So Jason holds out his arm for me to link and it felt good to be back on good terms with Jason, we as friends was better. I truly do love Padge and I was getting butterflies in my stomach knowing in a few days I will be seeing him.

Jason headed back to his room and Olivia was already showered and ready to go out, Since I already had shower this morning and a bath not too long ago I was fine. A knock came at the door and it was Ivan.

Ivan: Hey Pops ready for movie.

Poppy: Kinda Yeah, wanna go for a spin first?

Ivan: Where?

Poppy: Supermarket to get sweet and chocolate and loads of crap

Ivan: And ice cream and Monster and and and and and

Poppy: Mr Moody are you mocking me now?

Ivan: I would never do that, Hey listen Jeremy is gonna join us too for movie as he sick of going out sober too

Poppy: OK cool

Everybody was ready to go out now, they all walked down to reception with us. They were gonna get 2 taxis.

Poppy: Ye are going to O Reilly's Yeah?

Olivia: Yeah

Poppy: Just order one mini bus cab then, I will take some of Ye over
