Chapter 36

Padge's P.O.V

I watched as Poppy was taken into the ambulance, I gave Matt Poppy's car keys to drive to hospital while I hopped into ambulance too. My heart is breaking as the ambos hooked Poppy up to machines, there is so much blood, my heart was telling me it was all over, this was it, Poppy was exiting this world without me. It suddenly hit me that the ambos didn't know she was pregnant, so I told them and they looked worried. We were speeding through the traffic until we finally came to the hospital, the nurses and doctors were waiting at the emergency exit for Poppy and they rushed her straight to theatre, that's when I felt totally helpless as I was alone to my own thoughts.

Jason's P.O.V

Fuck Poppy was shot, this could only be the doing of that fucker Adam. My heart was secretly breaking and I couldn't show my emotions which was even harder. There was so much blood, I don't know if the outcome will be good.

Zacky's P.O.V

FUCK, FUCK, FUCK!!!!! Poppy the girl I was madly in love with has being shot, this is not fair, the poor girl has being through so much and now this. I know this was that Adam guy. Come on Zacky don't let on now about your feelings for her, Padge needs you!!

Matt's P.O.V

Padge gave me Poppy's car keys and I drove Charlotte, Moose, Stephi, Jai, Olivia, Ivan and Zoltan to the hospital, the rest followed in the other cars.

Charlotte: Fuck sake, Poppy has to pull through this

Matt: I hope so, but there was just so much blood

Ivan: Now I am gonna break that dude's legs

Matt: Mate i know we all mad now but let's not do anything stupid, Padge and Poppy needs us now to be strong, I just hope if she survives, so does the baby

Olivia: Shit yeah the baby, they were finally after coming to terms with it and were happy.

Matt: Yeah I know

Zoltan: She will pull through, she so fucking strong and kick ass, she has to

Charlotte: Let's hope so

We finally get to the hospital after breaking about 20 laws getting here, we must of ran about 10 red lights, but fuck we didn't care, Poppy was our concern and we wanted to be there for her and Padge as fast as we could. We all run in and when we finally got to Padge, he was beside himself with worry and who could blame him, his whole life is in the operating room. Soon enough the Avatar, A7x and rest of FFDP boys came running in too with Michelle and Val.

Brian: What's happening?

Padge: Don't know, she was brought straight in for surgery

Brian: Right, I think I saw Police pull up outside too, they were probably called

Padge: I just can't deal with them now, Matt or Moose, you mind talkling to them for me

Matt: No probs Padge mate

Sure enough the cops did come in so myself, Ivan, Moose, and Brian dealt with them, we told them about just getting out of the cars across from the hotel, the girls all went ahead of us and then we all ducked for cover when we all heard shots and when it stopped that's when we saw Poppy not getting up, there was blood everywhere.

We all know this was Adam's doing and we were very vocal about it, we said Padge wasn't ready to talk to anyone till he knows what's happening with Poppy, so the cops were satisfied with what happened and our statements were enough for now, they were going to go find Adam now and hope to bring him into custody for attempted murder(for now). We head back into everyone else. Charlotte, Stephi, Val, Olivia and Michelle decide to go get some coffees for us as we could be here for a while yet. They came back up few minutes later and handed us all coffees. Padge was so distant and quiet, it was all so new to us as he usually the loudest.

After what felt like an eternity the doctor finally came out.

Doctor: Family of Poppy McDonnell

Padge: Yeah that's all of us mate

Doctor: Ok we dislodged the fragments of bullets from Poppy's chest and back, we also have managed to stabilise her but unfortunately we could not save the baby.

Padge: Ok thanks I guess I kind of half expected that with the amount of blood, but what happens to Poppy now?

Doctor: Luckily the main bullets passed through and didn't hit any vital organs, we have put her into an induced coma until we are confident enough that she suffered no bacterial infections but she should make a full recovery, but it will be a long and painful process for her.

Padge: Ok can I see her?

Doctor: She being wheeled up to her room now so I can only allow 3 people at most to see her, who is the main relative?

Padge: That will be me, I'm her fiance

Doctor: Ok you first and I persume you won't leave, so 2 people at a time with you
