I just can't get over how beautiful our baby boy is, he is perfect and I have never ever felt such a powerful love in all my life. I was holding Vaughan in my arms after feeding him when Padge and his parents came in, Padge had the biggest smile on his face when he came in and saw us.
Padge: Hey babes, you feeling OK?
Poppy: Yeah I have a surprise for you
Padge; What's that?
Poppy: Your family is allowed home soon
Padge: U serious?
Poppy: Yeah Babe
Padge: Awesome Babe
Padge then takes Vaughan to hold and he gave his son a kiss on the head, after a few minutes, his mum and dad got to hold him and then the boys, Olivia, Stephi and Charlotte arrived.
He was passed around for cuddles and when his godmother Olivia held him, he drifted off to sleep in her arms, so we took a photo of him.

Charlotte: So when you allowed home?
Poppy: Later on today
Charlotte: Oh lovely
Poppy: I want xmas dinner
Padge's mum: Coming to our house then, I have lots of dinner, all of Ye more than welcome
Everyone: Thank you
Poppy: Have you his seat in car Babe?
Padge: Yeah I do, I went into right super dad mode and even have safety gates up already ha-ha
Everyone: Ha-ha
The nurse came in and she said I could actually go now in few minutes if I wanted, I was ecstatic, Padge helped me out of bed so I could get dressed in bathroom after a quick shower and then when I came back in the room, the nurse had the discharge papers ready for me, so I signed them and then she explained that I will have a visit in a couple days from the health nurse to see if we are getting on OK with baby Vaughan and to check my health as well as baby Vaughan's and make sure I'm feeding him right and not suffering with post natal depression also that Vaughan is not suffering with anything like jaundice or wind.
So Padge carried my bags after we made sure we had everything, I gently carry Vaughan who surprisingly stayed asleep cuddled into my chest. Padge opened the door at back of jeep and I place our boy into his seat and strapped him in. We all gave the guys a hug and said see them at Padge's parents. I hop into the back seat in between Padge's mum and Vaughan, while Padge's dad sat in front with him as we all drive with Matt and Charlotte driving Moose, Jai, Stephi and Olivia following behind. Charlotte rang her mum to bring Evann in her car to house Paget for all of us to have our Xmas dinner since nobody planned anything with their families as they seemed to know we were gonna have an Xmas baby.
