Chapter 39

Padge's P.O.V

I drive Pops car back to the hospital after dropping some of the rest to the O2 for the A7x rehearsals, I should make it back after visiting hours for the gig itself. I get to the hospital and park car and I go to gift shop inside and get some red roses for my babes. I get to her room and she is asleep, so I put the flowers in a vacant vase and sit on chair beside her bed. I didn't have to wait long before she woke up.

Poppy: Babes, your back

Padge: Of course baby, can't has U facing all the night on your own

Poppy: Thanks

So I stand up and I bend down and kiss Poppy on the lips, it made her smile into the kiss and she kissed me back and her tongue asks for entrance to my mouth and I gladly accept as putting my tongue in her mouth. We were kissing for a few minutes until being interrupted by the doctor, who said Poppy needs to have a few more blood tests and be bought back up to X-ray to just double check there was no Bullet fragments or infections in her body. So Poppy was put into a wheelchair and the doctor let me push her up to the X-ray, but I had to wait outside while she having the X-ray done. It was an agonising 20 minute wait before Poppy and the doctor came back out they were both smiling so that was a good sign.

Poppy: No infections and no Bullet fragments, I'm clear to go home tomorrow babes

Padge: That's the best news babes, I'm so happy for you

Poppy: Thanks baby

Doctor: Now just to be sure we will need to do another X-ray in the morning but I will defiently say you can go home by lunch time tomorrow.

Poppy: Thank god, I can't wait to eat nice food, no offence

Doctor: None taken, I totally agree

We get back to Poppy's room and I help Poppy back into her bed. She is ecstatic happy about being discharged tomorrow, I'm so happy for her right now, when she smiles, it makes her more beautiful if ever possible and of course it makes me happy knowing she is too. I sit beside her on the bed and she cuddles into me, so I kiss her on the head and tell her I love her. Soon enough it was 8pm and visiting times were over, so I gave Poppy another kiss and we each smile into the kiss. She hugged me goodbye and said she would see me tomorrow once I come to collect her. I leave the hospital and make it back to the O2, security left me in through the artist entrance and I join up with Olivia, Val, Michelle and the boys.

Ivan: Padge man how is Pops?

Padge: Yeah all good thanks, she allowed out tomorrow around lunch time

Ivan: Ah good stuff, at least we get to spend our last night here seeing her gathered around us all.

Padge: Shit Yeah this is your last gig in the UK tomorrow, where Ye off to next?

Zoltan: Germany, Greenland, Russia, Finland, Sweden and Norway before we head to New Zealand and Australia.

Padge: Jesus that's a lot, but fair play

Zoltan: Where Ye next?

Padge: Have month off then its Northern American and Canada and then a short break again before Download.

Zoltan: We come straight to Download from Australia, gonna be a killer but worth while, its all about Download, I fucking love it.

Padge: Pretty awesome alright, hope Poppy is gonna be up for her job at it
