What is a friend? How does a friend should be? Are they the ones that should be there for you no matter what? Should they be the ones that must take care of you whenever your parents are not around? Should they be wiping your every tear? Or in anyhow, are they responsible of your being? Think. An ideal perception of a friend is that someone who could understand not just your playing habits, or your happy thoughts, but also the one who never gets tired seeing how you throw off your tantrums, watching your crazy doings, and just bearing your being melodramatic scenes. An ideal friend is also the one who protects you from those who wanted to tease you, beat you, and even from those who judge and criticize you. It's nice having someone who is called by everybody as a "friend" to be with you whenever you wanted them to be. Why not? Everybody needs someone to be by their side, to lean on a shoulder, to hold on a hand, and serve as a supporting buddy. That is what we call, "human nature". How touching , isn't it? How grateful an individual should be if they would have someone like that by their side? But the fact is, anybody could live well without these kinds of people, it is just in the state of mind that we like to depend, we wanted to, and so we chose to. Because we believe that it could make us happy. That having those people with us would be necessary for us to live. See? Bottom line is, we chose to. Who would not wanted to have such company? It's great, isn't it? After all, it is not bad either so we could prefer doing it. Just have another look at it, isn't it selfishness demanding these people to be always by your side? Dragging them in a situation where they do not deserve. I mean these people, too, have their lives to live on and who are you to make them mind you each time you are in an unbearable situation? Aren't you getting upset and ashamed of yourself? Don't you ever thought that you might have been bothering them since then on? Foolishness, isn't it? Have you gone crazy mad thinking only about yourself, your feelings, and your being. How about those people whom you call friends? Don't they have problems to manage? Aren't they going through tough times? Still, who are we to judge? We are different people, with different way of thinking. .. and so, that's why it is called friendSHIP because it is a kind of RELATIONSHIP wherein people share thoughts and abide by the decision of both parties.
