*2 months later*
Grant's POV: Aaliyah and I were watching Netflix and cuddling on the couch. Garrett got a new girlfriend. Her name is Ashlynn and she Zoe's ex best friend. I don't think that's fair to Zoe. I look at Aaliyah. She looked beautiful but all I could think about was Zoe. Maybe if I kissed her I would forget about everything. She looks up at me and I smile. She smiles back and I slowly lean in. Just right when we were about to, the door slammed open. ••••••• Garrett's POV: I saw Aaliyah and Grant about to kiss and I couldn't let that happen. Aaliyah had no idea about the kiss yet and I couldn't let that happen. I slam open the door.
"NO!" I yell. They quickly pull away and stare at me. "What's wrong?" Asked Aaliyah.
"Aaliyah. I have to tell you something Grant has been keeping from you for 2 months." I tell her about the kiss and everything. She looked so upset. She looks at Grant. "Is that true Grant?" She asks. She then pulls away from him. I could tell he wanted to deny it but didn't. "Yes..." He says. "It did" tears filled her eyes and she sighs, looking down at the promise ring he gave her awhile back. She takes it off and gives it to him. "I should leave." She gets up. "We're done Grant..." And with that, she left."
