Why? {Lex POV}

I woke up and looked around. I was laying on Pony's chest outside in the park. I remembered what happened last night. I had a very good time, but the last thing I remembered was getting drunk and falling asleep with pony. But Hailee and Johnny were with us also. I wondered where they went. Ponyboy woke up. "Good morning Lex." He said in a raspy voice. He gave me a goofy smile and it made my heart skip a beat. "Mornin." I replied smiling. We stared at eachother for a moment and I thought he was going to kiss me but I looked away. What is wrong with me! A VERY HOT GUY THAT YOU LIKE ALOT WAS ABOUT TO KISS YOU AND YOU LOOK AWAY?!?! UGH! I looked back at him and he smiled again. "Let's get back home, Darry is probably gonna be mad but it was worth spending the whole night with you and the others." Pony said. He helped me up and we raced eachother back to his house. Of course he won. He's like a friggin' track star. We both entered and Darry wasn't home. I wondered why he's been busy lately. Two-Bit, Johnny and Hailee were home and they were watching cartoons while eating breakfast. "I'm starving." I groaned. "Then go eat ya stick." Hailee laughed. "Alright alright." I laughed back. Me and Hailee are best friends and I can tell her anything I love her to death. I grabbed some chocolate cake and  some eggs. I basically devoured my food and Two-bit stared at me wildly. "Damn! Slow down chick." He freaked out. "chill out two-bit before I come down there and knock ya out." I told him. "Haha Come at me babe." He told me. I looked at Pony and he looked furious so he stormed up to his room. Johnny was about to go up there but I stopped him. "I'll go up." I said. "Looks like it's his time of the month again." Two-bit whispered with a cocked eyebrow. Everyone laughed but I didn't. I wondered what was wrong with him. I opened the door and he groaned. "What's wrong you baby." I playfully grinned. He didn't look at me. "Hello?" I asked waiting for a reply. "Nothing I just don't like when other guys say stuff like that to you, shoot I don't like when guys even touch you." He said madly. I touched him and he looked at me. "But why." I asked. "I um don't know.." He said trying to act clueless. Should I tell him? I don't think it's the right time. "Look just please don't do that in front of me, my jealousy gets the best of me when it comes to you." He said. He's jealous. Oh my god, he likes me? He actually does. I blushed and smiled widely. Pony and I walked down stairs together. I noticed everyone was here now. "Did you use protection." Two-bit blurted out. "Shut up will ya?" Pony yelled. "Relax." I put my hand on Ponyboy's back and I felt him relax a little. "What were you guys doin up there." Steve winked. "Nothing, we were just talking." I replied. "Hey pone, I'm gonna go talk to Hailee for a while." I told him. "Okay be careful please.." He pleaded. "Don't worry." I said. Hailee got up and we walked to the Lot. "Pony almost kissed me." I blurted out excitedly. "WHAT!!!!" Hailee exclaimed. "Well we woke up in the morning and you guys weren't there so we stared at eachother, but me being me I looked away." I said mentally slapping myself. She laughed. "Johnny is so hot, gosh I love that boy." She admitted. "DATE." I practically yelled. "I'm waiting for the right time." She said. "Same here." I saw an old T-bird pull up and park across from the lot. I knew it wasn't a Soc so I wasn't as scared. I looked at who got out and it was Dallas Winston. shouldn't he be with the gang? I thought to myself. He was walking toward us and right when he walked up to us he grabbed me forcefully and punched me in the face and everything went black.

(Hailee's POV)

"LEX!!" I screamed. Lexi was knocked out cold. Dallas punched her straight in the face and then walked back to his car. He said something that sounded close to "You bitch." I didn't know what to do!?! I couldn't leave her here and go for help because some Soc might come. That dumbass Dallas. I looked down at Lex and her face was already purple. I saw someone from a Distance. It was Ponyboy. I yelled "HELP."

(Ponyboy's POV)

I saw Hailee and she yelled help so I ran as fast as I could. I saw Lex passed out and her face was bruised. Who did this to her? And why? she's been beat for 14 years and she still is? Damnit. From now on I'm going to protect her with everything I have. "What the fuck happened Hailee?" I asked filled with rage. "Dallas, he just knocked her out and drove off." She replied worriedly. I picked her up and held her against me. She was shaking because she was freezing. Hailee and I ran to my house. Luckily everyone went home except for Johnny of course. Soda was at work now and Darry was sleeping. I layed Lex in my bed and waited until she woke up.... I'm gonna hurt Dallas Winston.. I'm gonna hurt him bad.
