I heard the front door to my house slam and I instantly woke up. I checked my alarm clock and it said 1:43am. I knew it was my parents that were home and I was scared to death, even though it's nothing new to me, getting beaten all day and sometimes all night. I'm surprised I'm not in the hospital yet. "Let's go find that little piece of shit." I heard my father yell. I instantly ran downstairs to try to get past them, but my father caught me and slammed me onto the hardwood floor. I screamed for help but of course no one could hear me over the loud music they were playing. My father kicked me about 7 times and grabbed a aluminum baseball bat and started to beat me even more. I covered my head and took the beating. My mother stood there laughing and yelling horrible things at me like "YOU'RE WORTHLESS." Or "NO ONE WILL EVER LOVE YOU, YOU UGLY PIECE OF SHIT." after they were done I ran out of the place I call home into the cold rainy weather. I ran to the lot which was a couple blocks down from my house. I layed down on the cold concrete and cried myself to sleep, wondering what I did to deserve this.
