Mine (Pony's POV)

It's finally my 15th birthday! I don't feel older. Today is the day I'm going to tell Lexi. It's gonna be perfect. It'll be around night time though when everyone's in bed, it'll be a total surprise. The whole gang (except dallas) got me presents, they didn't have to but at least they care about me. My day started out perfectly, I got to see Lexi, she always makes everything perfect. It's now around 5:00pm and all of us are watching my favorite movie while Darry makes my favorite meal and Soda makes his famous chocolate cake. Hailee was leaning on Johnny's chest. They look really happy, I hope lex agrees to be mine today. I looked over at Lex, she was next to me watching to movie, she started to laugh so hard at the movie. "Geez, cool down." Steve told her. "Shut up before I go down there and beat your ass." She snapped playfully. "You have to go through me first." Two-bit chimes in. "Oh please, your too easy, give me some competition." She laughed. I was laughing at the whole situation. "Come at me baby." Steve and Two-bit winked. A wave of jealousy washed over my whole body. Why do they have to call her 'baby' damnit. Lexi looked at me and touched my hand, telling me to calm down. I nodded. They fought for a while until it was time to open my gifts. "C'mon kid open mine first!" Two-bit practically yelled. I looked at him and grabbed the present that said his name on it. I opened it. It was the new leather jacket I've always wanted! "Thanks bud." I told him. "I knew you'd like it." He smiled. "Me next!" Steve shouted. I grabbed his and opened it. It was some new white converse, thank god, I needed some new ones. "Darry told me your shoe size, and your old ones are pretty beat up." "Thanks Steve." I exclaimed. I opened Johnny's present next, it was a black switch-blade. "Thanks Johnny Cake!!" I hugged him. "Your welcome, open Hailee's next." I smiled at Hailee and grabbed the present from her and opened it. It was a new bottle of the good kind of hair grease. "Thanks Hails." She smiled at me. I opened Darry and Soda's next. They both got me one present from both of them, it was a new sketch book with new colored pencils. "Thanks, you guys are the best brothers I could ask for." The last present was Lexi's, she got me three gifts I smiled at her and she winked. The first present was a 6 pack of pepsi's. Everyone laughed, I love her creativeness. I opened the second one, it was those books I've been wanting!! "Thank you so much Lex!!" I said "I knew you'd love it, now open my last one." She demanded. I opened it and as soon as I saw it I fell in love with it. It was a painting of the sunset. I was speechless. I pulled Lexi into a hug and everyone said 'AWEEE'. This girl is the love of my life. "This is the best present of all time." I told her. "I knew you'd love it." She smiled. I gave her a small kiss on the cheek and she blushed really hard. I love making her blush. After I opened my gifts, we ate dinner and had some cake. "This is so good soda." Hailee said as she devoured her cake. "It's my secret recipe." Soda smirked. I laughed. This was by far the best birthday I've ever had.

It was around 9pm now and everyone was gettin real tired, especially Darry and Sodapop, since they've been busy lately. everyone left except for Johnny and Hailee. "I love you." I heard Johnny tell Hailee. She kissed him. I can't wait until later. I sat next to Hailee and Johnny and watched some dumb movie. Lex was upstairs I guess taking a small shower. I walked upstairs into my room and waited on her to come in here. Johnny knew what was going to happen because I told him my big idea a real long time ago. My stomach got butterflies when I heard footsteps across the hall. Lex opened the door and came in. "Hey birthday boy! Goin to bed early?" She asked "No, not quite yet, I was waiting on you." I smirked. She giggled and sat on the bed next to me. I felt so nervous but I was ready to do this. Her hair was down and it was a little wet from the shower, she had a loose tank top on with basketball shorts that I guessed were mine. She looked at me and I looked at her. She was about to say something but before she could I kissed her on the lips, her lips were so soft and sweet. She was laying below me as I kissed her. I can't stop kissing her, I want this to go on for a while. I took off my shirt as things started to get intense, she was now on top of me while we were making out, she licked my bottom lip asking for an enterance and I let her in. She was really turning me on. I aggressively grabbed her and put her on the wall while still kissing her and I kissed her neck a couple of times and she moaned quietly. "Your-Mine." I finally said in between kisses. She stopped kissing me and looked directly at me. "I love you Ponyboy Michael Curits." Her eyes were filled with happiness. I pulled her into another kiss and this time I put all of my love into it. I ended the kiss and set her down on the bed. "You look really hot shirtless." She told me. I blushed. "So I've been told ." I winked. "I love you." She told me. "I love you too, as soon as I met you, I instantly fell in love and I knew tonight would be the perfect night to make you mine, please stay with me forever." I told her truthfully. "I will." She kissed me one last time and I fell asleep with the love of my life in my arms.

(Lex POV)

I was so happy I was gonna cry. Pony and I are finally a couple. I got to admit, he is the best kisser in the world, the way he kissed me made me feel so special, and it turned me on. I hope we didn't wake anyone. I hope everything will stay like this, I have a best friend and a boyfriend, now let's just hope there isn't anymore drama. I thought about Dally. I hope he finds someone to make him happy, I really hope he does..
