Rings (Johnny's POV)

Today was Hailee and I's 2 month anniversary. I got up early and went to the store to buy her flowers and chocolates, and also her favorite book, that she doesn't own. It was only 7am I figured she'd be awake at 8:30am. I put everything including the ring inside of a huge decorative bag. Ponyboy was awake, he was wanting to see Hailee's face when she opens her presents. What a weirdo. "She's gonna flip." Ponyboy laughed. I tackled him to the ground, just to be funny. "Hey, man that ain't cool, you're gonna wake up the girls." Ponyboy laughed really loud. Sure enough, after he said that Hailee woke up. She jumped into my arms. "Happy 1 month baby." I kissed her and hugged her really hard. She laughed. I noticed she was hiding something behind her back. "What's that?" I smiled. "You're present, you weirdo." She laughed. Her laugh is so funny, it makes me laugh. "Lexi!" Pony yelled. She ran downstairs with a worried look and then she noticed the presents and she smirked. She sat in pony's lap and watched us. "Hailee, I love you so much, you know you made my worthless life so much better, I feel great everyday and it's all because of you, you're the peanut to my butter and I love you so." I told her she laughed at my cheesiness and kissed me. Two-bit, Steve, and Soda, walked in laughing. "Guys shut up, it their anniversary!" Lex yelled playfully. "Awe Johnny cake." Two-bit teased. I ignored them and kissed Hailee, I gave her the huge bag and her eyes lit up with curiousness. She opened the bag and saw the flowers. "I love them Johnny." She said happily. Next she grabbed the chocolates and smiled widely. "Oh yeah." She laughed, everyone else laughed with her. The last present she opened was the ring. She shedded a happy tear. "Oh Johnny, it's perfect, I love you so much." She cried. She hugged me and I kissed her. We received a chorus of 'awes.' I flipped them off and they laughed. I couldn't wait to open my present from the love of my life...

(Hailee's POV)

The present Johnny bought me was beautiful, this boy sure did know how to hit me straight in the feels. I gave him his present after we hugged. He looked at me and I nodded. He opened it and it was a ring, I could tell he loved. "Oh god, Hailee." He smiled. He hugged me. We both out on our rings and went into the living room. This boy really was the love of my life, sure my life was horrible but now, it's the best, I can't believe I ever thought about killing myself, I love Johnny too much to do that anyways. We decided to go out to lunch alone. "Hurry Hailee." Johnny yelled upstairs. I was taking a while to get ready. I finally was done and I went downstairs. We walked out and I heard two-bit and lex say "use protection." They all laughed as we left. My whole face turned red. Johnny laughed at me. "You dork." He kissed me. "I love you." I told him. "I love you more." He smirked. "Never." I smiled. He took my hand and we hung out for the rest of our anniversary. I can't wait until Lexi opens Ponyboy's gift tomorrow, since their anniversary is right after ours. Lexi deserves him, she needs him after all. Without him, she'd be no one right now..
