Happy for them (Lex POV)

it was 2am in the morning and Ponyboy woke up screaming bloody murder. "Hey hey, it's okay I'm here." I whispered. He looked at me with worry in his eyes. "Please stay with me for a long time." He pleaded. "Don't worry." I replied. He grabbed my waist and pulled me close to him and he fell asleep. I wonder what his nightmares were about. He told me he hasn't had them in years but now they're coming back. I want to ask him what they're about. I fell asleep with Pony's arms wrapped around me.

6am

I woke up and Ponyboy was still sleeping peacefully. He's so handsome, I'm so lucky to have him in my life, and I'm happy that I met everyone, I made 7 friends in like 3 weeks. That's good for me. I moved pony's hair out of his face and he opened his eyes. "Oops sorry for waking you." He didn't say anything all he did was pull me onto him and he started to tickle me. "PONY S-TO-PP." I pleaded. I was laughing so hard I was crying. "STOPPPP PONY." I squealed. He was on top of me now tickling me to death, "PLEASE!!" I squealed again. Hailee and Johnny barged in the door. "Oh, I thought you guys were doing you know what." Hailee winked. Pony laughed. "She'd probably be sayin the same thing." He winked at me. I slapped him playfully. "Hey I got somethin to tell y'all." Johnny interrupted. "Me and Hailee are a couple now!" He announced happily. YAY oh my god I'm so happy for them, they're so cute! "I knew this would happen sooner or later." Pony said while rolling his eyes in a playful manor. Johnny kissed Hailee in front of us, they're goals. "Get a room Hails." I joked. They left out room and walked down stairs, I could hear them announce to the others. "Aren't they cute?" I asked. "Yeah yeah." Pony said playfully. 'We would be cuter' I thought. "Hey Pone Im gonna go take a shower." I told him. "Alright, hey come back in here when you're  done."  "Alrighty." I was gonna come back anyway. I felt bad for taking sodas room and bed, but it seems like he loves sleeping alone now. Hailee and Johnny I guess are gonna sleep together in the guest room now. I turned on the water and got into the warm shower, and started to think about Ponyboy.

(Ponyboy's POV)

I was very happy for Johnny, he deserves the best, and Hailee is the best, it looks like she lights up his world. I hope the best for both of them.

Lex has been in the shower for what it seems like 30 minutes! Ugh I miss her and she's just across the hallway. When she gets out and comes back in here I'm gonna ask her to come to the movies with me, we're for sure gonna have a lot of fun. She told me everything about her, and I know she loves to read and watch movies, so I'm gonna take her to watch a movie I know she'll like. She came in my room and smiled at me. She looked so beautiful. She had baggy sweat pants on with a long-sleeve shirt that hugged her curves perfectly, she has a perfect body, her hair was this gorgeous light brown with blonde highlights and it fell just below her shoulders. I'm in love with this girl. She snapped "hellloooooo."  "Hi there." I smiled. "Let's go to the movies." I basically demanded. "Okay okay." She giggled. I love her smile, she has perfectly straight teeth and her laugh is perfect. "Get up then lazy ass." She teased "oh hush or I'll tickle you again." We walked out of my room and went downstairs. Johnny and Hailee left a note on the counter that read:

Hey, we're gonna head out to the movies to watch "psyco" we'll be back later.
Love -Hailee and Johnny.

I could tell Hailee wrote the note. I laughed. That's the same movie we were going to go watch. "Hey, Ponyboy I need to talk to you." Darry said as he walked in the door. "Sure, Lex I'll be right back." She looked at me and nodded. I stepped outside with Darry. "I know you and Lex sleep in the same bed together and I'm not saying you can't but don't be doing anything sneaky around he- I cut him off "Woah woah Darry, I won't calm down big brother." "Alright , just checkin in on ya little buddy." He patted my back and we walked back in. "Have fun you guys." He called to us as we walked out. "What was that all about?" Lex asked suspiciously. "Nothin, he was just checkin if we were doin 'funny buisness ' up in the bed." She laughed really loud. "I love sleeping in the bed with you, I rarely have bad dreams." She told me. My stomach got butterflies. I want to tell her and ask her to be mine but I'm still thinking of the right way to do it. We walked into the movies and we both saw Johnny and Hailee, they waved at us but we didn't sit by them, we figured they were out on a date. The movie we were watching was scary. Lex likes scary movies but she gets scared of them. "Ah oh my god !" She screamed. She buried her face in my chest when she got scared. "Scaredy cat." I teased. She hit me playfully. She was attached to me the whole movie and I really liked it a lot a lot. When the movie was over we met Johnny and Hailee at the dingo. It feels like me and Lex are dating but we aren't quite yet. 'Don't sweat it' i told myself. I'm gonna ask her when the time is right.

(Lex's POV)

We went to the Dingo with Johnny and Hailee. The waiter took our orders and we talked about the movie and other things. I admired Ponyboy as he was talking. Everytime he would laugh or smile he had these perfect dimples on his cheeks. His brown hair went perfect with his dark greenish-grey eyes. He had the most structured jaw-line is ever seen and his muscular body turned me on a lot a lot. The way he talked makes my heart skip a beat. "Earth to Lexi." Everyone said. "Oh sorry. I was just zoning out."  "I could tell, you were staring at Ponyboy the whole time." Johnny mocked me. I gave him a Ima beat your ass look and he laughed at me. "Hey guys! My birthday is coming up November 22nd." Pony said excitedly. He was turning 15. He was going to be exactly one year older than me. Our birthdays have the same number 22. Except for I was born in July. It was already November 19th. I knew exactly what I was going to get him. he told me he wanted a couple of books, and I'm also gonna get him a whole case of Pepsi ( as a joke ), but the most important present I'm going to get him is a $200 painting of the sunset. ( I stole the money from my parents a while ago ). I know it will make him happy. He looked at me and smiled goofy like. I smiled back. I looked at his lips. I wonder when I'm going to get to kiss him. I know the perfect time to tell him. His birthday, when we're finally alone. It'll be perfect.
