Protective (Pony's POV)

Dally was staying with us now, and so was Mya. That's good, we need extra people to protect them. I have a real bad feeling that they're watching Lex and Hailee's every move. Lex, Mya, and Hailee were going out tonight, but Dally, Johnny, and I, are going with them of course. We're about to leave, I'm not going to look away from lex, I'm not going to lose her. "Hey Ponyboy, come here." I heard Dally call. I walked over to him and he pulled me aside so no one could hear our conversation. "Look, I may go to jail tonight, if any guy touches Mya or even talks to her I'll explode man." He panicked. "Well, that's the same here, Johnny and I will probably go to jail with you." I laughed. "I need a cancer stick man." dally said. I gave him a cigarette and we went back to the crowd. "Hey, you ready?" Lex said. "Yeah let's go, and we're staying by you at all times." The three girls said. We walked out and headed over to a bar, we were too young to go in but, greasers will be greasers.

I grabbed Lexi's hand as we walked in. Men were already looking at our girls, "fuck off." I told all of them. Johnny pushed one of them away from Hailee and said, "you're getting a little close to my girl, you might wanna watch your back." Johnny eyes looked cold and dark for once. I whispered in Lex's ear, hey Dally is getting some alcohol, want some?" "Sure just one shot." She said excitedly. We don't drink much but I guess the girls wanted to have some fun with they're boyfriends. I looked over at Mya, and dally was ordering drinks. "Hey baby, you should come to my place and we can have some fun." A drunk guy started to grab Mya's waist. Shit, Dally is going to the cooler tonight for sure. I looked over and saw some guys that looked familiar. It was Josh and Jake. "Fuck, Lex, stay next to me, I'll probably go to jail tonight and Johnny will too i love you and I'll be out tomorrow." I told her. She looked at me confused and worried, until she noticed Josh and Jake. "I love you." She kissed me goodbye.

(Dally's POV)

I turned around right as I heard "hey baby you should come to my place and we can have some fun." Mya looked worried and tried to get away from the guy. "Oh your really gonna get it now." I told the guy. I jumped on him and slammed his face into the wall. "Don't you ever touch her again man!" I screamed. I kept beating him until the cops showed up. Apparently another fight went on too, and it was between Pony, Johnny and those two douches that tried to get their girls. I knew we were going to jail. I looked at Mya and she was crying. "I'm sorry, I'll see you in a couple days, stay safe. Please." I told her. She nodded. I hope I'm out by tomorrow.

(Johnny's POV)

Josh and Jake were here, Pony and I gave each other a look and we walked up to them, we were about the same size. They smirked at us. "What do ya want tough guy." Josh said to me. "You mess with our girls, you get beat, simple as that." Pony said with evil eyes. They both laughed. I punched Jake in the face and his nose instantly started to bleed. Pony grabbed Josh and slammed him onto the ground. They really aren't good fighters. We kept beating them until the police showed up and escorted us out of the bar. Lexi, Hailee, and Mya were no where to be found. Hopefully they went home. I didn't even get to say goodbye to Hailee..

(Lex's POV)

As soon as Dally, Pony, and Johnny started a fight, all three of us ran outside back home. I started to sob and the other girls were doing the same. "W-why does this happen to me?" I said. No one answered but we kept walking. We entered the house and found soda and Darry sitting on the couch. "Hey, where's the boys?" Darry asked. "They..they're in jail." Mya spit out. "WHAT?" Soda and Darry yelled. "They got into a bar fight." I sobbed. Hailee ran up to her room crying. "Alright, you guys stay here, we're gonna go try to get them out, we will be back in the morning." Darry said angrily. Pony was in some trouble. "Mya, it's okay. Our boys are tough." I smiled. She laughed. "You really love dally don't you?" I asked. "Y-yes, I do, he makes me feel so good about myself, I love him to death." She said. I gave her a hug and we sat there for a moment. "I'm gonna go check on Hailee." I told her. "Okay, I'm going to try to sleep." She replied. I went upstairs and found Hailee asleep. She was tired, tired of all the drama, Hell so was I. I went into Pony and I's room and I fell to my knees. I started to cry. I was wishing pony was here to comfort me but he wasn't, my life has been happy but everything has to collapse and then it gets better but bad things keep happening. "When is it gonna stop." I yelled into my pillow. I cried myself to sleep, it kind of reminded of the night I fell asleep in the lot. I really hope Pony gets out in the morning.. I need him. I drifted off to sleep and had a horrible dream.

Dream:

"Don't you hurt her." I heard Ponyboy yell from a distance. I looked up and saw my father above me, he had a knife in his hand, I realized what was about to happen. I closed my eyes waiting for the pain. "STOP." Pony yelled. He caught up to where we were but he was too late. I was lying in my own puddle of blood dying. "I.. I love you.." I managed to get my words out. He grabbed me and held me close. "No.. No please don't die please." Pony sobbed. He kissed me goodbye and I closed my eyes.

Dream over.

I woke up crying. That was the worst dream I'd ever had. Wait it wasn't a dream. It was a nightmare. "Shit." I cursed under my breath. Pony and I both have nightmares, and they're coming back for the both of us. I cried myself to sleep again and this time I didn't have a nightmare, I just dreamt of Ponyboy and I happy together. I hope my dream becomes real, I miss Ponyboy and I can't wait to see him, I need him... Now.
