Smiles (Pony's POV)

I woke up next to Lex in my bed. Gosh she was so perfect, I love her. I think I'm gonna tell her today. She was still asleep so I got up and went downstairs. Soda, Steve, and Two-bit were all passed out on the floor. Johnny and Hailee were both sleeping by eachother on the big couch. I wondered if they were dating? Nah, Johnny would've told me first. I decided to go to Buck Merril's place to talk to Dally and warn him once again. If I have to I will beat the living shit out of him.

I arrived at Bucks and knocked on the door. He answered as usual and I asked to see Dallas, of course Dal came right out as soon as he heard it was me. "Hey man." He greeted. "Shut the fuck up Dallas, I don't know what your problem is but you better stay AWAY from Lexi, and if I see you touch her one more time I will get the whole gang to beat the shit out of you and you will be the one going to jail, got it Winston?" I yelled. He laughed. "Listen, I can do whatever I want and I'm gonna get her, I want her." He said with evil eyes. "Well you aren't going to get her, she's mine." I told him. I decided to punch him in the face a couple of times for another warning. He dodged my first punch but I pinned him down and decked him in the face. "Stay away from her." I mentioned while walking away.

(Lex POV)

I woke up in Pony's bed and he wasn't there. I frowned and got up. I decided to grab some clothes and take a short shower. I got up and pulled my hair into bun on top of my head, I added minimal make up to my bruise, I stared at myself for a minute. I realized I haven't taken a good look at myself in a long time. I'm not as ugly as my parents described me.. I like how I look. Maybe that's why pony actually cares about me. Speaking of Ponyboy, I wonder where he is? He'll probably be back in no time. I went downstairs to find a sleeping Johnny and a sleeping Hailee. Why is the gang always gone? Maybe they get busy a lot. I walked outside and saw Pony walking toward me. "Hey!!" I smiled. "Hello darlin'." He replied. "Wanna take a walk?" He asked. "Sure." We walked to the Park and sat down on the jungle-gym. We started laughing at random things. "I'm hungryyyyy Pony!" I complained. "Let's go to DQ then you baby." I laughed and smiled. He looked at me then looked away. I giggled. We walked to Dairy Queen together, once we arrived we sat down and the waiter took our order. "I would like a Big burger and a large fry with a Pepsi." Pony ordered. "What is it with you and Pepsi?" I laughed. "Order some and you'll see." He winked. I blushed a lot because he winked at me, gosh he's a cutie. "I'd like a medium burger with a large fry and a Pepsi." I winked back. He looked down and started to blush. "So, where'd you go this mornin?!" I asked trying to make conversation while waiting on our food. "Um." He shifted uncomfortably. "I went to talk to Dallas." He confessed. I looked at him worried and scared. "He said he wanted you..." he said with rage. "W-What?" I stuttered. "Don't worry, I'm not gonna let that white trash get near you." He promised. Dallas? Wanted me? What? I am not attracted to him whatsoever, sure he's handsome but he's a horrible guy and he isn't my type. From now on, I'm going to stay with Pony and Hailee and Johnny so I'm protected. Our food came and we ate. I sipped on my Pepsi quite a lot, I know what he means Pepsi is really good. Pony looked at me and started laughing. "What?" I asked confused. "Nothin, it's just, you're so cute when your hungry." He laughed again. I laughed with him, and I blushed at the same time. He made me smile a whole lot. I love him.

(Hailee's POV)

I woke up with Johnny's arms around me, no one else was home. It was 12pm. WOW! I SLEPT THAT LONG. Johnny woke up as soon as I moved. "Hey mornin." He smiled at me. "GOODMORNING CADE!" I smiled happily. He smiled at me. "Let's go outside and walk around." He said. I nodded and we went outside. As soon as we were outside he looked at me and smiled, he grabbed me by the waist and wrapped his muscular arms around me. "Listen Hailee, I'm not gonna let anyone hurt you, I'm gonna protect you with everything I have, I don't want you in the hospital again." he said sweetly. I smiled and continued to hug him. Geez, he's so tall. He looked at me for a moment and just admired me. "Gosh you're beautiful, you know that?" He asked. I blushed a whole lot and he noticed too. "Thanks so much Johnny it means the world to me." I replied. We stood their hugging for a while. I can't hold my feelings in anymore. I've got to have him, he's something I need, something I can't live without.
