Falling ( Ponyboys POV )

"Geez what the fuck is your problem Dallas, I have done nothing, you know what, sorry I met you guys I'm leaving." Lexi shouted and she walked out of the door "Wait please don't go" I yelled after her but she was already gone. "Damnit Dal, stop being rude to her, can't you see she's had enough????" I screamed at Dally. "Oh what, you actually like that broad?" He laughed. "She isn't a broad, she's different than all of those slutty greaser girls." I yelled back at him "oh I'm sorry, Ponyboy, I didn't know you were in love." He said mocking me. "Shut the hell up dallas." The guys were staring at me. I never yelled, what was wrong with me. I really like Lexi I guess, I'm falling for her. I knew as soon as I saw her I cared about her extremely. I'd seen her around school and I never had the nerve to say hi. She's so beautiful, she has long brown hair and beautiful light green eyes that glow, her smile is perfect, it will light up a room, she's really short compared to me and I like that, she's very funny and we have a lot in common. Gosh I'm already soft but I think im getting softer because of her, and that's definitely not a bad thing. I'm falling for her... falling for her hard. "Earth to Ponyboy." I heard Two-bit call. "What?" I answered. "Stop zoning out geez, your scaring the heck outta us, where do you go when you stare off to space? Is it a place with a bunch of blondes??" two-bit said excitedly. "Oh hush Two." I replied. I went up to my room hoping Lex would come back soon, she's really got me worried.. If she doesn't come back soon I'm gonna go search for her everywhere. I opened the book Gone with the wind and read it for the 50th Time.

Hailee and I finally arrived at the Curtis house. I knocked on the door knowing at least one of the boys would answer, I sure hoped Johnny was here, so he could meet hailee. Someone opened the door after 2 minutes and it was Dallas Winston. Oh great the one I did not want to see. "PONYBOYYY, YOUR LOVER IS HERE WITH SOME OTHER CHICK." dally yelled. I pushed past him and Hailee followed. I saw pony come down stairs and he looked very worried and stressed "Hey Pone why do you look s- he cut me off by grabbing me and pulling me into a big hug. He was so tall compared to me, he basically engulfed me. I was blushing really hard and everyone said "aweeeee" really loudly. When he let go he looked relived. " I was really worried, please don't take off again, you could've gotten jumped by some Socs." He said worriedly. Hailee looked out of place So I decided to introduce her to everyone. After I was done, Johnny stared at her like she was the queen of England or something. I knew he'd like her.

//Hailee's POV\\

We walked in the Curtis home and I noticed the very tall Greaser Dallas Winston at the door. I was scared of him because he's known to kill a lot of people, but you know, people make up rumors. As soon as we walked in a tall handsome guy came down stairs and hugged the crap out of Lexi. It looked like he really liked her a lot a lot. I sighed wishing I had something like that. Lex introduced me to everyone and it seemed like they all liked me except Dallas, he never likes anyone. I felt like someone was staring at me from across the room so I looked and it was that really tall, black haired handsome hot ass guy named Johnny Cade. I guess that's the one Lexi was talking about. I instantly blushed because he was staring at me madly. He looked away smiling. I walked up to him and said Hi. I could tell he was shy because he didn't talk much. "Um Hi Hailee.." He said softly. "Hi Johnny.. Nice to meet you, I think your the nicest out of the whole gang by the way." I mentioned. I walked back to Lex before he could reply. I think I actually like him. Thank god I met Lexi at DQ. Thank god..

//Lex POV\\

I saw Hailee and Johnny socializing for a minute, I knew he'd like her!! I feel like the friggin' match maker. Hailee wandered back to me and we sat on the couches next to the boys. Hailee sat next to Johnny and I sat next to Pony. I really hope he actually likes me. I hope my parents are wrong about all of those things they said about me. I drifted off to sleep on the couch while everyone was still awake.

I woke up in the middle of the night and saw Hailee asleep on the other couch. I really liked Hailee, she's like a best friend to me. I went outside and walked around for a couple of minutes. When I was about to head back to the Curtis house a blue mustang pulled up and I instantly knew who it was.. It was Randy, the most popular Soc since Bob got killed. I started to run but all 5 Socs already had me pinned to the ground. "Hey you little broad, wanna have some fun." I heard Randy say. I spat in his face and he punched me. He got out his blade and gave me a small cut across the throat and I instantly started to bleed. "PONYBOY, HAILEE, JOHNNY HELP PLEASE!!" I yelled as I was
crying. Randy ripped off my shirt and was going to do the same to my pants but he ran off. I heard a familiar voice but I blacked out...

I woke up in a soft bed the next morning with a very oversized hoodie on. I recognized I was in Soda and Pony's room. I remembered the events from last night and I started to cry. Hailee came in and asked me what happened. " I ... I.. Almost got raped by randy.." I said between sobs. Hailee hugged me because she knows what it's like, she's practically been through the same thing. "Shhh it's okay." She said as she tried to comfort me. I got up and was still crying. I went to the living room and saw Pony watching Mickey on TV. "Hey lex, I'm sorry about last night, good thing I got there soon enough." He mentioned. "It's okay, I'm gonna go over to my house and get my clothes and other things. "Can I come with you?" He pleaded. I considered it but then I remembered my parents might be there and if they saw Ponyboy, he'd probably get beat like me. "No I'm good, I'll be careful." I walked up and quickly got to my house. My parents weren't there so that's a good thing. I took a small shower and quickly packed all of my things. I changed into black sweats and a grey loose shirt with my white converse. I heard the door slam and my mothers voice was heard. I panicked. Maybe my father wasn't here so I could easily get past her. I ran down stairs with all of my things. She paid no attention to me suprisingly. I left the house and ran straight ponyboy's house immediately. When I walked in I guess I had a scared look on my face and Pony asked what was wrong. "My mom was there, I thought she was going to beat me but, she ignored me." I said out of breath. Ponyboy helped me unpack my things into the guest room. Hailee wasn't even here. I wondered where she went. As a mater of fact, no body was here, except for me and Pony of course. When we were done, we sat on the couch and watched some TV before the gang arrived.

//Hailee's POV\\.

As soon as Lexi left to go get clothes I went out of the house and walked down to the Dingo to get some food. After I ate I walked back to the Curtis home but I was stopped by a Red mustang. "Shit" I cussed under my breath. I started to run but they already got me. "HELP PLEASE." "GET OFF ME YOU PIECE OF SHIT" I screamed with all my might. I got several punches to the face and then everything went black.

//Johnny's POV\\

I was walking to Pony's house, and on the way I saw something in the ditch. "Oh god please don't be a person" I thought to myself. I ran up to the thing I saw and I immediately realized it was Hailee, the beautiful girl I had just met. She doesn't even look like herself. She's been beaten to a pulp. I picked her up and checked her pulse. She was still alive, I ran straight to the Curtis home. I busted open the door with hailee in my hands. "PLEASE HELP HER NOW". I screamed. I saw Lexi begin to cry. Thankfully Darry came home at that time. "Darry please take Hailee to the hospital." Lexi yelled. I picked her up and took her to Darry's truck and we went to the hospital. I think I'm falling for her.. Falling for her hard. I hope she'll be okay. I'm not going to leave the hospital until she is. I swear I'm gonna find the Socs who did this and I'm gonna kill them.
