Not safe. (Lex POV)

Today was the day Hailee and I were going up to Windrixville, since we didn't want to pay for any hotel we decided to stay somewhere safe and free. The reason we're going up there is because we want a girls night, and if we do it here in Tulsa, we'd probably get beat up by Socs, the country is always a safer choice. I was sad that I was leaving pony, but I wanted to have some fun with Hailee, were practically Best friends now. I just woke up so I went down stairs to drink some chocolate milk. I felt muscular arms wrap around my waist, I instantly knew who it was. I turned around and of course my handsome boyfriend was standing there smiling with his hair a mess. "Please don't leave, I'm gonna have nightmares when you're gone." Pony said losing his smile. I frowned because he made me feel bad because of his nightmares. "I'm sorry, I'll be back first thing in the morning, I'm gonna miss you a lot and I'm pretty sure Hailee will be missing Johnny a lot too." I told him. He pulled me into a hug. Safer than anything else in the world. "I love you." He whispered in my ear. "I love you too." I answered. I gave him a small kiss on the lips and that's when two-bit walked in. "Hey no PDA." He joked. "Shut it Keith." I told him. He pulled out his switch blade and gave me a look, I knew he was joking though. Hailee came downstairs and stood next to me. "Hey we need to start packing right now, the train leaves in about two hours." She said unhappily. "Okay grumpy pants, what's wrong." She looked really sad. "I'm just gonna miss Johnny a whole lot.." She said. We walked up stairs and started to pack our stuff, boy I hope we have fun.

(Johnny's POV)

Hailee was packing her stuff when I woke up. "Please don't leave me." I called to her. "It'll only be a day."  "But that's too long."  She looked at me with a sad look on her face. "Come here." I told her. She walked over to me and I pulled her into a hug, I forgot my shirt was off so she was blushing even though I take my shirt off every night to sleep. "I'll miss you so much." She admitted. "Yeah I know, please do me and Ponyboy a favor, keep yourselves safe, and don't forget to pack a blade." I told her. She looked at me annoyed because I'm guessing she's already packed everything. "We will be safe baby, calm down." She told me. I kissed her and helped her carry her stuff down stairs. She sure did pack a lot just for a day. I looked at Ponyboy, he sure did love Lex like I did Hailee. He looked so sad, we both don't want them to leave. Ponyboy grabbed Lex and kissed her one last time. "I'll see you in the morning." he told her. Hailee practically jumped into my arms and hugged me. "I love you." She told me. I kissed her and everyone said goodbye to the girls. Please be safe please.

(Hailee's POV)

Lexi and I still had twenty minutes left until we go to the train so we decided to grab something to eat, we walked to the dingo and bought a burger and fries for the both of us. "I already miss him." I told lex. "Hey, this was your idea punk." She joked. "I know, I'm just so attached to Johnny." I said. She nodded. We ate our food quickly and ran straight to the train. "I haven't had to run like that in a while." Lexi said as we jumped onto the train. "Yeah I know, that's why you were so far behind." I laughed. "Shut it." She hit me playfully. We sat on the train and took a nap until we got to Windrixville. "Get up were here." Lex shook me. I got up and we jumped off the train and started to head up to Jay mountain. "Ugh. How far is this." Lex complained. "It's right there." I giggled. We raced eachother to the church and of course I won. "Good thing we brung blankets and pillows or we'd be miserable." I told her. "Yeah, good thinking Hails." She said. "I say it's around 3pm, wanna unpack and see what we're doing tonight." Lexi said. I nodded excitedly and we got started. This was gonna be fun.

(Ponyboy's POV)

It's around 3:30pm. It's been about 4 hours since the girls left, I know they're already at the church, I just hope they're safe, so help me god if anyone touches them I will explode. I heard a knock on the door and opened it. It was Dallas Winston with some girl that looked around Lexi's age, maybe a year older. She was cute, but I only had eyes for lex. "What do you want." I rolled my eyes. "To apologize, I was drunk, I'm sorry, I know Lexi is yours I'll stop trying to get her, I've found someone else now." He said as he looked at the strange girl. "Okay, well Lexi and Hailee aren't here." I said sadly. I don't forgive Dal, but I can't block him from my life, my parents loved Dally and they'd be dissapointed in me if I absolutely hated him. "Come in, Darry and Soda aren't home but everyone else is." I told him. "Hey Dal." Everyone greeted him excitedly. "Who's the chick." Two-bit asked excitedly. "Hey guys, um my name is Mya." she finally introduced her self, slow much? "Ohhhh Dally, you've finally settled down?" Johnny teased him. Dally looked okay with everything being said to him right now, maybe he really likes Mya. "We aren't dating, just friends." Mya said. Lexi would like her. Maybe they'll meet when they arrive tomorrow. Dallas sat on the couch with Mya and the rest of the gang. Johnny looked in complete, and boy oh boy I was feeling very empty without Lexi here. "I don't feel well I'm gonna go take a small nap." I told everyone. Johnny was the only one that acknowledged me and he nodded. I went up stairs and layed down. I tried to relax but I couldn't, I had a bad feeling in my gut, they really shouldn't of left.

(Lex's POV)

It was around 7pm and the sun was setting. I imagined Ponyboy outside right now watching the sunset. Hailee and I had glow sticks so we could see when the sun setted. "Let's make our beds." Hailee said. I agreed and we made a huge pallet with a lot of blankets and pillows. It was really comfortable I'd say. "Alright let's play cards." I suggested. Hailee grabbed the cards and set up the game 'Go-Fish.' "My favorite game." I winked. We started to play. "Gotta 7." Hailee asked. "Go-fish." I smirked. we finished the game and of course I was the winner. No one could beat me except for maybe Johnny, he was really good. We began to just talk about how perfect our lives were, we were being stereotypical girls, talking about boys, clothes, and shoes. "Shhh, do you hear that." I told Hailee. We stopped talking and heard two voices that belonged to men. Two guys walked into the church. They looked around 18 and 19. "What are you ladies doing up here alone?" One of them asked. "Leave now." Hailee told them. She had her hand in the back of her pocket where she hid her blade. "Nice to meet you too, I'm Josh and that is Jake." They told us. They had a mean look to their face, like Dally. I was getting scared. "Look, please leave us alone." I pleaded. "We just want a little fun." Jake winked at me. "Josh you get the Blondie and I'll get the short one." He told them. "NO! LEAVE YOU DOUCHEBAGS." Hailee yelled. They grabbed us and Jake had a strong grip on me. "Come on, let's have some fun." He started to take my clothes off. "STOP OR ILL GET MY BOYFRIEND TO BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF YOU." I spat in his face. He laughed. "Your little boyfriend isn't here right now is he?" He tried to kiss me but I didn't let him. "Let Hailee go, take me." I told them. "No no little missy we want both." They both said. Hailee looked at me and she had her blade behind her back. "Take this you piece of shit!" Hailee yelled as she stabbed Josh's leg. "FUCK" he yelled. Jake let go of me and Hailee and I ran out of the door and straight to the train. We heard a car start and we knew it was the two faggots following us. "Fuck Hailee, the know where we live." I told her. My bag said 'Tulsa' on it. "Let's just go home." She said crying. We jumped on the train. I'm not safe unless I'm with Ponyboy. Why does this happen..why?

1 hour later

"Hailee come on." I yelled. We jumped off the train and started to run to Pony's house. "Those bastards are following us I know they are, and they aren't gonna stop until they get what they want." Hailee said as she started to cry. It was around midnight and we finally reached home. I barged into the door waking no one. Hailee and I ran upstairs and woke up our boyfriends. I left Hailee alone in her room with Johnny. "Hey, why you here so early."  Pony said tiredly. "We got attacked be some guys, they were gonna rape us and they're following us." I said really quickly. "What the fuck!" Ponyboy yelled in anger. "Why does this always happen to you?" He punched the wall. I started to cry. "Come here baby, I ain't gonna let them hurt you no more." He told me as he rocked me back and forth. I was freezing. "Let's go to bed and we will figure this out with everyone in the mornin." He told me. I could hear Hailee crying and Johnny comforting her. "O-o-okay." I said in between sobs. He pulled me close to him and rubbed my back. He always knew how to make me happier. "I love you." I told him as I fell asleep. Hopefully everything will be okay in the morning.. Hopefully.
