Finally (Pony's POV)

It was Friday, the day Johnny and I were supposed to get out of the cooler. The guys we beat weren't severely injured so we get out today, they told
us Darry is on his way to get us. I couldn't wait to see Lexi. I haven't seen her in a while. I've had a nightmare everyday since I've been without her.
If I see those guys again, they're definitely going to get way more injured than last time. "Curtis, Cade, your bail is here." The cop said monotone. Johnny and I were so happy we almost ran out of the doors. "You're in some big trouble Ponyboy." Darry said angrily. I didn't care, I needed to see Lexi right now. We got in the truck and we were on our way home, finally.

(Lex's POV)

Darry left to go get Hailee and I's 'surprise.' I wonder what it is. I hope Ponyboy and Johnny get out of the cooler today, man I sure do hate the fuzz. If he gets out today I'm gonna hug him and kiss him and everything, I'm probably gonna cry, he's my everything, and I can't handle being without him. "Lexxii make breakfast." Hailee complained. "Fine, whaddya want?" I fake groaned. "Chocolate cake and toast." She replied happily. I started the cake and finished her toast. "Here's your toast ya greaser." I said, trying to sound like a Soc. She laughed at my attempt. I finally finished the cake. I made myself a plate and Hailee made her's too. "Where's Mya?" I asked. "She went somewhere i don't even know." Hailee laughed. We were currently the only people home right now.

The door opened and I stood up excitedly, but it was just Mya. "What are you so down about?" Mya laughed. "I expected Pony and Johnny to walk in but it's just you, ew." I joked. She laughed and made herself some breakfast too. I finished eating and went outside for a smoke. I grabbed the lighter and lit it up, I took a puff. It feels so good to smoke but it isn't healthy, I've been trying to quit anyways. I walked in and sat on the couch, I started to bite my fingernails. It's a bad habit I have when I get too nervous. "Chill, or you'll chew your fingers off." Mya told me. I shook my head no and and continued to bite my nails. When is Ponyboy gonna come home.

1 hour later

I was up in my bedroom until I heard I knock at the door, I figured it was Hailee so I said come in. I looked at the door and it wasn't Hailee that came in, it was Pony. I instantly shedded a tear down my cheek and ran to him and hugged him. He wrapped his muscular arms around me and told me "I love you."  I hugged him. "I love you too, I missed you so- he cut me of and kissed me. I sure did miss his kisses. "Ponyboy get down here now." I heard Darry yell. He kissed me and ran down stairs. I know he's in some big trouble.

(Pony's POV)

I ran downstairs and Darry motioned me to come outside. I walked outside with him knowing I was in a lot of trouble. "Pony, if you get in trouble with the fuzz ever again I will kick ya out." He said angrily. "Sorry Darry." I looked down. "Now your punishment it you can't sleep with Lexi anymore for about 2 weeks, got it?" He yelled. "No Darry! You can't take her away from me! I need her, she needs me." I yelled at him. "Too bad, that's your punishment whether you like it or not kid brother." He kicked the rocks. I'm so mad, I went back inside and grabbed my jacket and left. I can't handle this, why does he make things hard on me?
I'm not coming back until I cool down..
