IT wasn't our standing we mourned, nor our possessions. The rolling hills once green with signs of life, was now burning in the black of night. Land once known to us as our escape now became our prison. Again we would have to seek a new life, rebuild once more. Marred by a past we cant escape, forever locked in this place. Driven out by flames of our fame. No life that night was lost but the memories of happiness died among the flames. No, it was not us they were after but the riches of the land itself. The beauty of the land they took was the very thing they longed for.
