Chains hold me to my place, though I am no stranger to this life. Only have my chains shifted from daggers I myself threw. A sigh escaped my lips as the door swung open. My eyes were downcast until at last I stood before my assailant. HIs cold dark eyes stared back into my own. The silence tore between us until a small, sly smiles crossed his face. "I will break you. The strong have to fall sometime." His cold voice spoke into the silence. "I did fall, long ago to an enemy far worse then you will ever be." I said, still peering into his eyes. Rage filled him and I felt him hit me with a knife handle. I smiled. "You will never break me." I said. Time passed and the beating continued. I felt blood from the corner of my mouth. "Have I broken you yet?" he said, feeding off my suffering. "You will never break me, I was broken long ago." I said. "Fine, then I will kill you." he said. "All right. I do not fear death and that's where you are mistaken. You rely on a fear of death but you wont find that fear in me." I said shaking. He put his gun to my head and fired without hesitation.
