The forest darkened by the thickness of the might lay far back from where the eye cold see. The rugged trees seemed to sway in the chilled wind of the autumn. Though the barren branches, the night sky peeked into the bleak forest. He lay peering into the night sky longing for her blue eyes to look into the night sky longing for her blue eyes to look into his own hazelnut eyes. Longing for the tough of her smooth skin, for her long black hair to contrast his short brown hair. A twig snapped beneath the weight of her foot as she stepped into the clearing. Quickly, he rose to his feet and his strong arms embraced her as a smile crossed his worn face. Tears fell silently from them both refusing to turn awy. A ray of hope for both of them in their worlds shattered by circumstance. The loving embrace void in the light and like a fire in the night. Slowly their time faded and they returned to their separate lives. Each longed for the next time they could meet under the cover of the night. Again and again they met through the freezing cold took control of the land. One night, he would end it all. Kneeling before her, speaking the words neither would have anticipated, he made the move to bring their forbidden love to the light. With a nod and tears of unfathomable happiness, they walked hand-in-hand out of the forest and into a new life. Broken people had come together to make a perfect scene of love.
