Deeks POV

We went over to the wife's house and she invited us in. We started asking her the basic questions like "has your husband been acting weird lately?" And so on

Kensi: Deeks, Eric said we would be looking for a flash drive

Those are some lovely shoes your wearing Mrs Moore

Emily: my husband bought them for me a week ago, their beautiful and the pair I always wanted, but its killing my feet. I guess nice shoes comes with a catch

Yeah,  I sat there staring at the shoes for a while then asked of I could see them, they all gave me a weird look then talia said "ok, Deeks if you have some weird shoe obsession now is not the time"

Kensi: I think my partner knows what he's doing

Mrs Moore handed me the heels which I examined then handed to kensi who said "its the left one" mrs Moore looked confused so I said "mark needed a place to stash the flash drive and keep you safe, what better place that shoes. Nobody would ever think to look in the shoes. May I?" She shook her head and I used kensi's knife to take off the heel and out came the flash drive which I handed over to kensi"

Talia: thank you Mrs Moore

We left the wife's house and went into the bullpen with Callen and sam to give them the flash drive and figure out a game plan. When we got there the guys had a suspect who was willing to help so Kens had the idea that we go under cover as the new sellers

Callen: kensi its a great plan but its better if talia goes because we'll need a long distance sniper

Kensi: so I'm supposed to sit on the sidelines?

You'll be keeping me and all the rest of us alive. That's doing a lot

Kensi: yeah whatever let's just get this done

At that moment my phone started going off again which made both kensi and talia turn to face me then talia said "your plumbers called about fifty times already"

Yeah, ah............I guess they need something again

We grabbed our gear and kensi went to find a spot to set up while talia and started walking to the spot where we'd meet the buyer and she held my hand but the lady arrived before I could push her away. We told her we were selling the information mark had and she didn't believe us and walked away but not before her sniper started firing at us. Kensi took a while finding him but when she did she took him out and Callen and sam got the other two shooters and took them in leaving me alone with Kensi and Talia

Talia: your girlfriend made an impressive shot today

Kensi: you can compliment me to my face seeing as I'm right here

Talia: it was good seeing her, tell her that when you see her and it was good seeing you

Yeah, so um I guess I'll see you around

Talia: not without a proper goodbye

She came up to me and hugged me sliding her hands down my back squeezing my butt then she pressed her lips to mine and I pulled away. She then walked away with a smile on her face

Kensi: anyway, I made reservations for two at Giorgio Baldi and it is truffle season

My phone went off and I put it on silence and said "I have a better idea" I held out my had for her and asked if she trusted me, she gave me an unsure look then took my hand and I drove us over to my place. When we walked in she smelled the food on the stove and said "lasagna, cute" I then said "yeah, my favorite meal is my mom's lasagna" and she looked at me in shock so I said "earlier I lied, there is no problem with the plumbing therefore no plumbers. My mom arrived a few hours ago"

Kensi: oh my gosh, she's who's been blowing up your phone all day and I know your not making me meet her for the first time deeks, not like this

Kensi's POV

I got so nervous knowing that his mom was there. I know how important she is to him and I've spent the day mad at him for keeping secrets, that's when I heard a woman's voice approaching saying "is that you Martin?" She entered and he gave her a hug then said "mom this is kensi, Kens this is my mom and those are things I just said out loud" I shook her hand and said "hi, it is a pleasure to finally meet you" I could see him smiling then she asked "do you cook?" I said no and she then said "do you want to learn?" I again said no and she looked at me for a moment which felt like forever then she looked at deeks and said "I like her"

Deeks: yeah, I like her too

We went in and she had me help her finish up dinner which was surprisingly fun, she told me old stories of what deeks was like grow up which only made me love him so much more. We sat and ate dinner together. It was perfect, after dinner I helped with the dishes then  said goodbye to both her and deeks and was on my way out when he literally swept me off my feet saying "I had no plans on spending the night without you, I though when you said goodnight you were headed up to bed not out the door, stay with me"

When I do that for you what's it for me?

Deeks: I can show you better than I can tell you. He set me down and pulled me in for a long kiss

I think that could work. Let's go up to bed then

Deeks: I strongly doubt we'll be doing any sleeping tonight

I don't mind at all.
