One short month ago my husband and I welcomed a baby boy named Logan and he's the cutest little guy ever. I love being in the house with him watching him do things for the first time like smiling, but I'm finally getting out of the house. Logan's with a sitter and I just walked into the bullpen to meet up with kensi and Nell for lunch. A little girls day will be fun and I'd really like to know why kensi's been in such a good mood these past three months. Its like she found a new reason to smile since waking up from that coma and I'm determined to find out what that is. When I got into the bullpen kensi, Nell and I sat on the couch close to the lockers where we sat and ate some takeout I brought along with me

Kensi: how has your little man been doing?

Kens he's so perfect. I have some pictures on my phone of him smiling up at me. Its the cutest thing ever

I took out my cell phone and we went through the many pictures of logan with kensi

Kensi: he is so adorable and he's getting big fast

Yeah, callen spends so much time with him that Logan's little face lights up when he hears his dads voice. Aniyah and sasha are a great help too, they love him

Kensi: that's good. He's a lucky little baby

He is, so are you going to tell me why you so bubbly? You've been cheerful and always smiling. Your glowing how happy you are so tell me what has you with that permanent smile on your face?

Kensi: I'm not overly happy

Nell: you are and I think its sweet

Kensi: deeks is the reason, he's such an amazing person and when I couldn't remember anything about us I had a chance to fall in love with him all over again so I know he's definitely who I'm meant to be with. I'm happy to be in love, I! Happy to have my amazing kids, I'm happy to have amazing friends like you guys. This is the new me

Nell: well personally I love every version of you and I love that your happy Kens

Kensi: thank you nell, so Mrs Beale is there any kids in your future?

Nell: you sound just like Eric, yes I want kids someday. Not sure when I want to start trying though. I don't think I'd be any good at being a mom though

Kensi: nell I couldn't even keep a plant alive so when I got pregnant with mason I was terrified of messing up. I didn't know the first thing about babies but once I held my son for the first time I knew I'd do anything to protect him. Babies are a challenge sometimes, but its a wonderful experience

She's right and you have us to help

Nell: I won't wait too long because I want to be a mom and I want to be able to have a special bond with my child like you guys have with your kids. I never thought I'd really get a chance at that and especially not with Eric

Yours and mine. What we wanted all along was right in from of us and we went for it. Kensi gave me the advice to ask callen out on a date. I wasn't sure but once I did we had an instant connection and now a family

Nell: she gave me advice on Eric too

Moments later we heard deeks saying "fern, where do you go?" Once he saw her with us he walked over and said "you having your little girl time, this is sweet. What are we discussing?"

Kensi: did you have a reason you we're looking for me or was it just because I wasn't there?

Deeks: a little of both. My mom arrived and she wants to see you, I told her you'll see her at dinner later. What's so important that she came all this way?

Kensi: don't you have some paperwork to take care of? Baby go away

Deeks: fine but you'll miss me once I'm gone

Kensi: I'm sure I'll survive, babe make sure maya and mason are good home alone

Deeks: I called and their fine. Their actually spending time together

Kensi: that's good, I like when their getting along.

Deeks: when your done having this girl moment we should talk for a minute. its important

Kensi: tell me, I can handle it

Deeks: Hetty's sending sam and me out of the country for a while. She didn't say where but I know the case is important and it might be longer than a few days. Don't worry though, I'll call you and text you every single day. We leave tomorrow evening

Kensi: I can't handle it, I really don't want to to go deeks. I need you here and you know that

Deeks: you know this isn't a choice. We will talk about it  later fern. I'm not planning on being gone for months or anything so I'll be back in no time and before I leave there's something else we need to discuss with hetty. I think its time

Kensi: not really. You just made me very sad so go finish your paperwork shaggy

He gave her a kiss then left headed back for his desk

Kensi: well happy kensi is going on a vacation for a few weeks, I hate when he leaves and especially when I'm not there having his back

You could just ask hetty if you could tag along. I can watch the kids for you

Kensi: I can't go on that mission. My babies need me so I'm not going to leave them, deeks will be fine, I'll only miss him every second he's gone but I'm sure I'll survive

Its a good thing we have each other. You know you could have told me about your little situation going on. I just pieced it together

Kensi: I was going to. Nell did you figure it out too?

Nell: figure what out?

Kensi: I'm pregnant and its not just you guys, we haven't told anyone yet. We were both so excited for Emma when the worst thing happened and this time around we both wanted to wait. I'm only on month three so far and its not showing yet so I'm still going to wait unit I'm four months to tell everyone so let's keep this between us and only the three of us

Nell: definitely and congratulations, I know how much you want this

Kensi: both of us want this so much and this one is a planned pregnancy so we have everything under control.

That's good, I'm happy for you and we will be here for you when he's away. If you need someone to go to appointments with you or hold back your hair while you throw up we got you

Kensi smiled and said "I love you guys"

Nell: we love you too Kens
