Double Jeopardy

Kensi's POV

I woke up at three in the morning feeling a sharp pain to my stomach, it lasted for about fifty seconds. Once the pain was gone I got up out of bed. As I made my way down the halls I felt a warm liquid draining down my legs. I looked down and saw blood. Immediately I started to panic and I made my way back to my bedroom to wake my sleeping husband "Deeks something's happening, I need you to wake up"

Deeks: what's going on princess, do you know what time it is?

I need to go to the hospital. Their's so much blood and I have to make sure the baby's ok

He shot up out of bed and quickly helped me get cleaned up and changed. Once I was done he drove me down to the hospital where we went up to the maternity area and the doctor ran a few tests. she arrived shortly after to tell us what's going on

Deeks: Is our son alright?

Doctor Martin: your baby is in distress, I've had he operating room prepped for an emergency C section. Mrs Deeks I need you to remain calm, I can already see your stress levels rise. Your baby is already in distress so I need you to breathe. Mr deeks will you be joining your wife as we prepare to deliver your son?

Deeks: Of course, baby I'll be there with you every step of the way, even if you don't see me I'll be there

It feels like Déjà vu you saying that again. I know I can count on you to be there for me and our baby boy, but babe we left out in such a hurry that we forgot the two kids we left home alone

Deeks: I called callen and he's going to make sure Mason and Maya are alright. baby their's nothing to worry about.

Deeks's POV

Once Fern and I were both properly dressed I went along with her into the deliver room for her C section. She decided to stay awake during so they gave some drugs to numb the pain. It was cute seeing her all drugged up. She had the biggest smile on her face which helped calm my nerves a little. I held her hand as the doctor started the operation and within minutes he took out a tiny crying baby girl, we've spent the past few months preparing for another son, but another princess is just as amazing. she looked a little blue and after allowing both kensi and myself one look at her they to her away. The doctor finished up with kensi's operation then moved her into a recovery room where she slept for a few hours with me right beside her. Around ten in the morning the guys all came for visit along with our very excited kids and mothers

Maya: where's our little brother daddy?

We had a little surprise in the delivery room, It turns out that the baby was a little girl and she's having some complications with her breathing at the moment and we're still waiting for an update on her condition

Talia: Hopefully the little angel will be ok, kens how are you doing?

Kensi: I feel like i'm about to die, natural childbirth is a lot less painful and I didn't even get a chance to hold her, she didn't even cry. Babies are supposed to cry

Talia: you don't need to think about that right now. It won't help at all and if she's anything like you at all I know she'll be alright

Kensi: you got here pretty fast

Callen: we were already here since nine. Sasha and her brother got into an accident on the highway, thankfully she's alright, no major injuries

Maya: Is Jordan going to be ok?

Callen: not sure, it was pretty bad, It's a miracle that he even made it this far. The car was hit head on and he was the driver. Sasha had fallen asleep in the back seat.

Maya: Where is sasha now?

Callen: she's asleep in room 193, they had to sedate her for the pain so she won't be awake for a few hours. Makai's with her now so she's going to be fine and I think Jordan will be ok too

Maya: Your not very convincing at all. You clearly don't believe that at all and you kinda suck at delivering bad news. You should really work on that uncle callen

Callen: I'll try my best Maya

Doctor Martin walked in said "Can we have a moment in private?

kensi: it's fine, If its about the baby then you can just tell us

Doctor Martin: Mrs Deeks have you been taking any kinds of medication for stress or any kind of anti depressants?

Kensi: I have need for either of those, why do you ask?

Doctor Martin: it's what nearly killed your daughter, I'm going to need you to be honest because that child is having some serious allergic reactions to whatever it is you took and in order for me to help her I need to know what i'm dealing with. The lab is backed up with your full results and she needs assistance as soon as possible

Kensi: I'm being honest, the only thing I took was the vitamins my doctor gave me o my visit a few days ago.

Doctor Martin: do you happen to have it with you?

I reached into fern's bag and handed him the bottle of pills that he opened and examined closely

Doctor Martin: I strongly advise you sue whichever doctor told you these were vitamins, the bottle has the vitamin prescription written on it, but I know this pill all too well, now I know why she's having so many complications, It's not an allergic reaction all. These pills are commonly known as the morning after pill, either your doctor needs to have his license revoked or someone intentionally switched your vitamins out with these hoping to kill that baby

deeks: If that's e case then their prints should be somewhere on that bottle or on the pills themselves.

Sam: not if they wore gloves. Kensi you have my word that I will find whoever did this

Doctor Martin: this bottle has all kinds of different pills that are harmful to an unborn child, someone honestly didn't want your baby to survive

Kensi: Bring my baby here where I can keep an eye on her, I already caused all of this

This is in no way your fault, you didn't know and you can't blame yourself for that. You did everything right

A nurse rushed in and said "le docteur Martin, Deeks bébé a disparu" (doctor martin, the deeks baby is gone)

Callen: what the hell do you mean gone? lock this hospital down now

Nurse jamie: it's already done, only authorized personnel is allowed back there and I left for less than a minute. I had other babies to look after and my back wan't turned long

Kensi: what happened to my baby?

Maya: the nurse said she's gone, they lost her. you should know this is a room full of bi lingual people

Kensi: you did what? How the hell do you loose a baby in a hospital?

Callen: the hospital is on lock down and you have all of us here, we'll spread out and look for baby deeks

Kensi: I'm coming with you and don't even try to convince me otherwise because that's my baby out there and she needs medical assistance

Your not going anywhere, if your stitches end up popping out she won't be the only one needing medical assistance. Fern do not get out of that bed. We'll find her

Kensi: She has a birthmark on her left shoulder, it looks like a heart and her eyes are a really dark shade of blue

You saw her for like two seconds while you were completely drugged up, how did you notice all of that?

Kensi: how could I not, that's my baby and instead of talking go find her before I do it myself

we all headed out in hopes of finding my daughter. I don't know why someone would want to hurt an innocent baby. Our jobs bring risk, but putting my kids in the mix makes it personal
