Deeks POV

The time is winding down more and more each day, right now Kens and i are out shopping for a few more baby items, we've been busy and the baby is due in a few short weeks

Kensi: deeks you know we don't need more baby clothes right? We're only shopping for bath items, diapers and wipes. We got everything we need so you can put those back

This onsie is too cute. Mason would look adorable in this and the big teddy bear is necessary. Let me pick up a few more things then I'm done

Kensi: fine but once the shopping cart is full your we're done and your already half way there

I picked up a few more baby items then we headed to the cashier. After checkout we headed to the car with our things when I walked into monica, I went undercover with her and she wasn't happy when she found out i'm a cop

Monica: Max, oh wait that wasn't your real name. Marty was it?

Yeah, I'm sorry for walking into you. I was a little distracted

Monica: I can see that, I knew their was something more to your partnership and like I said before kensi you can't trust him, take your baby and go because he's a liar

Kensi: and like I said, before I trust him with everything. Deeks was undercover and somehow you ended up being a part of that

Monica: congratulations on the baby, I hope he's better to you than he was to me

She walked away and we loaded the baby stuff into the car, the drive home was awkwardly silent. When we arrived I fixed up the nursery and made us lunch

Kensi: you don't have to worry about what she said getting to my head. I know how it is sometimes with those undercover cases. Feelings get hurt, I know your someone I can trust and I trust you with everything

I didn't even want that case but I couldn't turn it down and she was never supposed to be a part of it until she went and stole those diamonds. Let's not even talk about monica, that was almost four years ago. I've been thinking about you and me taking a trip somewhere for a week or so. We can get the time off and it can be a vacation before the baby comes

Kensi: I think your too late with that. My water broke

Its early, we still had almost another month left before he's due. I can handle this. I'll get your bag while you wait in the car

Kensi: I'm going to change my clothes while you get my bag and the baby's bag

She went upstairs while I packed up their things and we headed off to the hospital. The ride there was rough because her contractions were coming fast, but we made it and I went straight up with her into the delivery room. We were able to get doctor snow who came immediately. It was too late for kensi to get the epidural so she was frustrated and in pain. When it was time for her to start pushing she held on to my hand and squeezed as hard as she could so we both were in pain. She kept  pushing and pushing until loud screams filled the room. I went and cut the umbilical cord and held my son in my arms for awhile before handing him over to his mom

Kensi: he's so perfect. I can't believe we made this

You did great today, you gave me this beautiful baby boy that I get to call my son and even though I can't feel my fingers today was perfect

Kensi: I'm sorry about that, you could have told me to let go

I'm pretty sure you were in much more pain than I was and I wanted to be here holding your hand like I promised I would

Doctor snow: do you have a name in mind?

This is Mason Donald Deeks

Kensi: you gave him my dad's name. I love it and I know he would too if he were here. The nurse has to take Mason while I get all cleaned up so do you mind waiting outside? I think you've seen enough for one day. You could go make his name official on paper. I'm not going anywhere

Nurse Amelia: Mr deeks you can help me get little Mason all cleaned up

Sure, Fern if you need me call. I'll be back when your all done in here

Kensi: I'll be fine shaggy, take care of our baby

I will. I gave her a kiss and followed the nurse where I helped clean Mason up and while he slept comfortably in the nursery I called everyone to tell them about his arrival. I hope hetty considers this a good reason to miss work tomorrow. After a few minutes the team arrived at the hospital and followed me into the nursery to see Mason until nurse came in and made us wait outside while she took mason to kensi. We followed her to kensi's room where she held our baby boy in her arms as he opened his eyes

Talia: he's so adorable despite the fact that he looks like Marty

You just had to add that in there didn't you?

Talia: I wouldn't be me if i didn't. Can I hold him?

Kensi: sure. Kensi handed the baby off to Talia

Talia: he is really adorable and almost made me reconsider having another kid in the future

Kensi: where did you leave Aniyah?

Talia: in the waiting room with granger. I guess he has a soft spot for waiting. Who would have guessed?

Kensi: he's a mysterious man. Everything he does surprises me

Talia: you and me both, when can you take this little guy home?

Kensi: in time morning, we're staying overnight. Im so ready to get out of here. I had to do this without any drugs, being shot probably hurts less

Talia: I can't imagine how you feel. Even with the epidural i was sore for like two weeks, but somehow they make all that pain worth it in the end

Kensi: they really do

Sam: our family is getting bigger and bigger and its perfect. Mason is a nice addition and I know their will be more to come from either one of you

Talia: the next one will probably come from you because we're out for at least three years

Kensi: three to five years before I consider another kid. We'll see how well this one works out first

I think Mason will be perfect so the next kid is guranteed

We spent the night talking and the next morning i took kensi and my new baby boy home. It was so amazing having him here into the world with us and things are pretty perfect at the moment. I couldn't wish for a better life
