Kensi's POV

Its been a two weeks since I woke up from a three month coma. I've learned that I have two very close friends. Nell and talia who's seven !months pregnant with baby number two for Callen. I have a relationship with my mother and I have two pretty amazing kids, as for deeks I just don't remember us. That doesn't change the fact that I know I love him, but I don't know why. I woke up seeing his smile and in my head I knew I'm in love with this man but for their life of me I can't remember. He told me how we lost our baby and we cried together. It was a bittersweet moment. The kids are now in school so its just the two of us here and it's a little awkward, he's just waking up so he's folding the blanket he used while sleeping on the couch

Deeks: everything ok fern?

Not really, you realize there are two empty rooms right? Why sleep on the couch?

Deeks: I don't sleep well without you so I stash out here to watch TV and Emma's nursery is still set up. We didn't know she was a girl when we decorated so it's fit for either sex. I never bothered taking it down

You could sleep in the same bed as me. We're both adults and your my husband

Deeks: well I had no rest so if you don't mind just laying with me that would be great

We went into our bedroom and got into bed together. When I thought he was fast asleep I snuggled up to him and said "I may not remember why but I know I love you" I gave him a kiss on the cheeks and he opened his eyes so I said "I'm sorry, I thought you were asleep"

Deeks: well I was about to when I heard you say that you love me. Kens I love you too

He leaned over and kissed my lips as soon as he kissed me memories of the two of us flashed through my mind. He looked up at me to see of it were ok to conbtinue, so I leaned in and reconnected our lips. The kiss got heated really fast. He was already only wearing boxers, as for me I wore my underwear with one of his old LAPD t shirts. I was now on top of him and could feel his erection underneath me which only sparked more heat and desire between us. He took off my shirt and said "are you sure you want to do this?" I unhooked my bra and threw it across the room, he flipped me over so he could be on top then he took off his boxers and my panty. He started kissing my neck, then suddenly stopped so I asked "what's wrong?"

Deeks: I have a lot on my mind at the moment and I don't want us to rush things. You said you love me, but you don't know why. What does that mean?

When you kissed me I remembered why. I remembered Nell and talia, I remember our wedding. Deeks I remembered Emma, we were both so excited for our baby and we can never get to meet her. I loved our baby so much and someone took her away from us

At this point I was in tears, he held me as I cried on his shoulders. You were right, falling in love with you all over again was incredible. I love you so much, you've been patient and understanding. You've been taking care of me when you didn't even think I loved you

Deeks: I love you fern, no matter what I will always love you and I knew you felt the same. At first you didn't but as the days went by you got more comfortable in our routine and little things that I always say made you smile. I knew if you forgot our past we could still have a future and if you want another baby we can work on that

You would really do that for me? I know how hard loosing Emma must have been for you, she was our little girl deeks. We lost our little girl

Deeks: its ok fern, that doesn't mean we can't try again. Over the past two weeks you've been spending a lot of time in the nursery holding the little teddy bear. I know you really want this and so do I so let's have a baby
