Aniyah's Arrival

Deeks POV

Kensi is now four months pregnant and has the cutest little baby bump. Somehow she convinced hetty to let her stay in the feild, but only in safe situations. When it comes to catching the bad guys Nell has my back. Right now I'm filing paperwork while she's hanging out with Eric and Nell up in ops, thats when we heard a familiar whistle so sam callen and I headed up to ops where granger had the wonder twins brief us on a case which involved Russian arms dealers and Callen said we should pay a visit to our favorite russian arms dealer Arcady Kolcheck

Callen: Deeks I'm sending you and Nell

Kensi: if i tag along I'll be extra back up. I could stay in nthe nxar until they've cleared the place. I'm no help to Eric in here and its not a dangerous situation

Callen: fine, but you know the rule. Put on your vest and head out with them

Nell, Kensi and I headed to arcady's house and once everything was cleared kensi came out of the car and joined us by the pool where arcady sat having lunch

Arcady: what can I do for NCIS?

Kensi: how about you start of f by telling us what the hell happened this morning. One of the men shot is one of your guys so let's not start off wrong by lying to us

Arcady: I expected Callen, I know nothing about my men being targeted. I send them out for coffee and they come back one guy short. I asked what happen and they say big men shoot at them and kill my guy. That s all I know

Your coming with us back to the boat shed. Your obviously not giving us the full story. I'm sure hetty could get it out of you

Arcady: your boss makes me uncomfortable. We were picking up a shipment and men start shooting and get away with some of my guns.

That's just fantastic, you supplied cold blooded killers with machine guns. Your still coming with us

Kensi cuffed him and on our drive out a van hit us side on and three men came out firing at us so nell and I got out of the car firing back until they were down whenwent to check on kensi she was unconscious and her head was bleeding. The paramedics came within minutes and I rode with her to the hospital. I watched them roll her in and doctors came right away to examine her. I refused to leave her side as they ran their tests

Doctor snow: she's stable, I'm going to do an ultrasound to check on the baby and you shouldn't let pregnant agents out of the office

She's stubborn but there's no way I'm letting her out again

Kensi: I heard that, I'm not stubborn I'm opinionated. Deeks is out baby ok?

So far so good, she's going to do an ultrasound so you woke up at the right time

The doctor started the ultrasound and we heard the heart beat and looked at our little baby on the monitor all curled up. Both of us had tears on our eyes then the doctor said "your little boy is doing great"

Kensi: its a boy

Deeks: I told you it was a little boy, thank you Doctor snow. Fern their is no way your getting out of ops again. We have no idea when harmless situations can turn dangerous amnd today was the perfect example of that

Kensi: Arcady is different and you know it. I promise I'll only tag along to give grieving families good or bad news. Those situations are never dangerous

Your very stubborn, but I'll take it. In the next five months we'll have a mini me running around

Kensi: another Marty deeks, I don't think the world is ready for that, but I like the idea. This is going to be a new and amazing adventure for the two of us

It's going to be great. So doctornsnow, how long is she staying in here?

Doctor snow: overnight just to be cautious. She has a pretty serious concussion

Kensi: you can go baby, you have a case to solve

You and our son are more important to me than this job. Family first. I'm staying where I'm needed which is right by your side. Sam, Callen and Nell can handle the case while i stay with you

Kensi: your nso sweet and I love you but I'm fine. My mom is going to sit with me until you get back from work. Go, I promise you if I need you I'll call

I gave her a kiss and left out. Our case didn't wrap up until after eight and we all decided to come down to the hospital to sit with kensi for a while. When we walked into her room I said "you never called your mom did you?"

Kensi: I got caught up sleeping so I did not and she would have been worried over nothing like you are. I'm fine, callen didn't talia go into labor an hour ago?

Callen: she has a long way to go. Nothing's happening right now and she's very irritated

Kensi: she wants this to be over and it's taking longer than she expected. Doctor snow said I'm fine so you should go back with her

Callen: she's asleep at the moment. The baby should be here by tomorrow morning which is quite a few hours away and her room is literally right next door

Kensi: did anyone bring edible food.

We brought you korean food and some cronuts

Kensi: that's probably why you took so long. I love cronuts so thank you. I would really love to get out of here

Callen: you and me both, who knew having a baby took so long?

Sam: did you think they magically popped out? There's a lot of waiting then screaming and pushing. Its a very painful process

Callen: Talia doesn't make it look painful. When her water broke she made me wait until she took a shower and fixed her hair to come here and when we got here she watched TV until she fell asleep

Sam: her contractions haven't started yet

Nell: she told them to give her an epidural for the pain so she might not feel a thing

Kensi: that's a smart woman, I'm definitely doing that. All I could hearnwas screaming all day long. When this little guy comes I want it to be as painless as possible

Eric: your having a boy? That's cool, what will you name him?

Kensi: I don't know yet, deeks has a long list of names so I'll probably pick one of those

I'm thinking something like Morgan or Mason. What do you think about choosing one of those?

Kensi: I love Mason, its cute so I could see him being a Mason, Morgan's a good name too but let's go with mason for the first one

Could their be more little deeks in our future?

Kensi: let's see how this one turns out first then we'll talk

I'm going to take that as a yes and go with it

Kensi: that's not want I said but whatever.

Callens POV

After talking with tyue guys for a while I went and sat with talia who had just woken up and after a few minutes of the two of us trying to compromise on a baby name for our little girl it started happening. She was dialated enough to start pushing and pushing as I stood beside her holding her hand and almost an hour later she gave birth to a beautiful dark haired baby girl who had my blue eyes and her mom's beautiful smile. After they gave the baby a check up I took her next door where she met the team. Talia and I decided to name her Aniyah Makayla Callen. For me when i held my little girl it was love at first sight. Its amazing how someone you just met could have such an incredible affect on you. My daughter is the number one girl in my life and i love her more than ever
