Maya's story

Kensi's POV

Today is the day deeks and I introduce maya to the rest of the team and our parents so we planned a dinner at our house. Maya's excited to meet everyone but I hate telling her story and I know she hates it too. Maya's only four years old but she's been through a lot and we're finally at a place where everyone's happy so I hope everyone accepts Maya no questions asked. Everyone's arriving and we're setting the table for dinner, but maya hasn't come out of her room yet

Deeks: fern is Maya ok?

She doesn't like meeting new people for obvious reasons but she was excited all day. I'll go check on her

I walked into Maya's room and found her picking out outfits in her closet so I asked "what's taking so long baby?"

Maya: I'm trying to find a pretty outfit but its so hard

You take your time and we will be waiting with all oyur guests ok, call out to me if you need my help

Maya: ok mommy. I'll wear my yellow dress

I joined everyone back at the table and said "Maya's fine, she's in there picking out an outfit. The girls takes forever to get dressed but she'll be out in a minute

A few minutes later maya joined us at the table looking adorable and she greeted everyone and I said "an hjour dressing and you went with jeans and a shirt, what happened to that pretty yellow dress?

Maya: it wasn't me

Well I like your style mand next time you could ask for my help getting dressed

Maya: I'm big, I can do it on my own

Julia: she reminds me of you at that age. Thinking she's to big to need her mommy's help and you were never were a fan of dresses. She cute

Maya this is my mom and beside her is daddy's mom. I know you remember the team but you never got to meet Nell and Eric

Maya: that's a lot of people mommy

Nell: she's so cute

We enjoyed dinner as maya got to know everyone. I don't know why I was nervous, this kid is so amazing and she had so much love in her heart for everyone. They adore her almost as much as I do. My baby girl was getting along so well with the family, things were perfect. After dinner maya suggested ice cream for desert so I went along with it and we hung out with the guys in the living room. It was such a fun night, but it was getting late so everyone was heading home with the nexception of deeks mom who was staying with us while she's in town. I got the kids ready for bed while deeks cleanse up and when we were done we sat with his mom to talk

Deeks: so mom, what do you think of Maya?

Roberta: I think she's wonderful, its so like you to open up your home and heart to another child and I know I raised a good boy. Maya perfect martin

Deeks: I think so too, I always wanted a daughter so this is great. My family keeps me happy

Roberta: that's a good thing. You have this beautiful woman beside you and two perfect kids asleep in their rooms. Your a lucky man

Deeks: everyday I wake up next to her I'm reminded Kens you and out two amazing kids are the best thing that's ever happened to me. I love you

I love you too and that will never change no matter what

Roberta: this is sweet and I'm tired so I'm off to bed

You can sleep in Maya's room, she likes to sleep with Mason because she said he doesn't like being alone. She's afraid of the dark

Roberta: most kids her age are, ask what a scares her and tackle the at problem together

That's great advice, we'll definitely do that, but she's fast asleep so tomorrow. Have a great night

Deeks and I went to bed and aroundfive in the moeening when mason usually wakes up I went to check on him and met Maya feeding him his bottle. It was the cutest sight, she did a good job at making his bottle and he was smiling at her

Maya: mommy I did to like you do and he likes it

Its so sweet that you like taking care of your brother and you only spilled a little, your a good big sister. You two look very tired so how about we go sleep in me and daddy's bed?

Maya: ok

I picked up mauson and Maya followed me back to my bedroom where she climbed into bed with us. Mason crawled over to sleep on his dad's chest while Maya cuddled up to me and we fell asleep. it wasn't until around ten in the morning that we woke up to the smell of bacon

Deeks: as much as I'm loving a snuggle session with Mason I'm hungry and breakfast smells delicious. The little man is latched on to me

You know you love it when he does that. Deeks this morning I woke up to the cutest sight. Maya made mason a bottle and she was in there feeding him. He loved it, he was all smiles. It was so adorable

Deeks: she's a good sister. Waking up to this is heaven, woman you're incredible and perfect. I have everything I've ever wanted, my dreams weren't as perfect as this right here. I know things won't always be easy but having you makes it worth it. You make my life worth living and I had a better way of doing this but Kensi Marie Blye will you do me the honor of becoming my wife? Baby will you marry me?

Tears fell down my face, tears of joy, it was unexpected and sweet, it was perfect. I wiped away the tears and said "yes" though it was a simple three letter word it meant the world to both me and him. He leaned over and we shared a passionate kiss expressing all our emotions. Life couldn't get any better than that moment, that man made me the happiest woman alive and I don't think I could stop loving him if I tried. He completes me and this love we share is never ending. I found my piece of perfection with him cans our kids and that's something I'll never let go of
