Kensi's POV

I'm now seven months pregnant with my son and happier than ever. Things have been pretty good, when I'm not needed at work I'm usually at callen's house helping Talia with her now three month old baby girl. I'm really excited for motherhood even though it still scares me a little, but I have the perfect person doing this with me.

Deeks: babe what do you want for breakfast? I can whip you up pancakes if you like, and a little bacon and eggs

That all sounds good good. How about you get me some donuts to go with that I and it will be perfect?

Deeks: way ahead of you fern. We're running late for work so I will make it this to go

Sure I'm going to get dressed

I went upstairs and got dressed. While walking downstairs I almost tripped due to untied shoe lace good thing deeks was there to catch me

Deeks: you could hurt yourself baby. If you need help tying your shoes you could have waited for me. I don't mind helping you out

I don't need help doing something so simple deeks, I'm fine ok I'll wear the ones without laces

I went to change my shoes which took forever because its a challenge getting to my feet, after I won the shoe war I hopped into the car with deeks and we drove in silence to the mission. When I walked dinto the bullpen he set my breakfast on my desk along with a cup of hot chocolate and took his seat beside sam

Callen: its awfully quiet this nmorning, anything you two want to talk about?

We both stayed silent and I ate my breakfast in peace, until sam said "Kens my wife is making dinner and she told me to invite everyone mso you and deeks should come over after work" I just nodded in agreement and started my paperwork, our silence got us weird looks from both sam and callen then the boys went down to the gym to do some training together

Callen's POV

As soon as we got down to the gym I asked deeks what's going on with him  and kensi this morning and he took a while before I got an answer

Deeks: its nothing man, she likes being independent and I'm good with that but when she does need my help its hard for her to just ask. This morning she couldn't tie her shoes and almost fell, I was only trying to help her out a little

I had that same argument with talia

Sam: and Michelle. We're with women who likes to be independent like you said so them asking for help is a big deal. They would rather try doing not on their own. Women like kensi, Talia, and Michelle hate asking for help even with the simple things. You should just let her be and when she realizes that she needs your help she'll come around. Their complicated women deeks

Deeks: Your right about that

Sam: your lucky. With kensi you didn't have to deal with any morning sickness or mood changes, she's just carrying a baby without all the complicated stuff

Deeks: I am pretty lucky, I would have hated seeing her sick

Who would have thought we'd be in here talking about pregnancies and our difficult girlfriends? I never thought this would ever be us

Sam: I never thought you two would settle down. G your like the lone wolf and now the lone wolf has a daughter and a girlfriend who keeps you busy. We need more guy time because we rarely hang out anymore. G you have a new baby and deeks has one on the way. We need to go have a beer or something

Deeks: I told kensi that since she can't drink I won't because we're in this together.

Sam: she didn't ask you to do that so one beer won't hurt and I'm sure she'll be happy to let you go out. We can grab Eric and have a guys night out tomorrow.

I'll check with talia and see if that's ok

Sam: G Callen has to ask permission? I'm shocked, you must be really in love because the only woman you report to is hetty

It's not like that, I don't need to ask anyone's permission to go out for a few beers with my friends. I'm a grown man

Deeks: good luck with that. Before I make our plans official I'm going to ask kensi because I want to make sure she'll be ok alone for a few hours

You do that. I'm going to check on aniyah. Her babysitter hasn't called to check in yet and I need to tell talia about dinner tonight

Deeks: I didn't think you two would have worked out at first, she's an alpha female and your an alpha make so if anything I thought you'd have a lot of disagreements

We do but with this disagreements comes compromise. We both wanted things to work between us so we learned how to compromise on certain things

Sam: you live to make her happy so I knew it would work out from the day you bought a couch

Kensi walked in and deeks went and sat with her while she did her yoga positions

Deeks POV

I walked over to feen stretching and said "I'm sorry about this morning, you don't need anyone to take care of you when you can do it yourself"

Kensi: I overreacted, I did need your help but its embarrassing that I can't even tie my own shoes. I'm sorry I got mad at you for no reason and the next time I need your help I'll ask

Its fine, know you can take care of yourself so I should wait until you say you need me before doing anything. Are you still going to try that mommy and me class tomorrow?

Kensi: I'd need a partner and your going out for beer with the guys. The class isn't going anywhere, I'll take Nell

I don't have to go fern, I want to be a part of everything

Kensi: you are a part of everything, one night out with the boys is well needed. Nell and I need some girl time even if its at a mommy and me class. Its going to be fine if you miss one class

Your amazing and how can you streach like that while you're pregnant? Our little mutant ninja assassin isn't getting in the way of anything for you

Kensi: no he is not. See I'm giving myself sixty days to get back to my original size after mason comes so I'm going to continue with my daily work out routines, you should go back to hitting that punching bag over there because yoga is not for you

She pushed me away and went back to her work out
