Nell's POV

I'm sitting here in my apartment thinking about Eric, I've found myself doing that a lot lately, maybe its because I'm watching everyone around me follow their hearts and their all happily in love but I'm all alone. I have strong feelings for Eric and I think he feels something to but neither of us want to complicated things by taking a chance on us. We never really talk about it but we've been spending a lot of time hanging out together after work and I know I sound insane but I want more. I need someone to love me and I know he's that someone so today I'm going to finally sit him down to talk about it. I honestly need to discuss this with him. Its a long over due conversation.

I called Eric over and he arrived about thirty minutes later. I was so nervous when we sat together on the couch. I didn't know what he would say but I had to say something

Eric: so what did you call me over to talk about?

Well, um........I was thinking maybe we can talk about us. We spend alot of time together and I love that but I need to know what you think we are or what you want to be

Eric: I don't follow

I think you do. I'm talking about you and me Beale

Eric: oh, ah. Nell I like you, I've liked you from the moment we met and right now we're friends, just really good friends

Oh, well I asked and you answered so ok then

Eric: I wasn't done. Yeah we're friends but I was hoping we could be more than that. You dont know how hardnit is to force myself nto stop thinking about you. I really like you Nell, and I can actually be me when your there so I'm asking if you want to be more than just friends

I'd love that, its actually all I've wanted for a while

Eric: then why didn't you say anything?

Because I wanted you to say something first. I had an idea that you might have felt the same but I wasn't sure and I was afraid you wouldn't feel the same

Eric: well now that we both want more what's next?

I leaned over and pressed my lips to his soft lips and we shared a deep and passionate kiss. When we broke away for air he said "wow!" I just smiled at him and he smiled back. This was the begining mof something beautiful and I'm loving it. We spent the day at my house talking and mostly kissing and it was incrediable. Neither of us wanted to take things slow because we've known each other for years and we've had these feelings for too long, it was already late so I invited him to stay. That night we slept in my bed, but sleeping was all we did and him holding me close was all I needed

Talia's POV

Its been four days and in still not completely over this flu virus. Callen has been talikg dreamt care of me even though I get a little mean when I'm sick and this time is no different. He just came into our bedroom bringing me breakfast in bed and beside the breakfast on the tray was a single red rose with a diamond ring on it. I picked up the ring and looked at him completely in shock

Callen: Talia I love you and I want to spend the rest of my life with you because you make me happy. You and Aniyah make my life complete. Will you marry me?

I started crying and said "I can't believe your asking even when I'm at my worst"

Callen: even at your worst I still love you with every piece of me, so you get a little mean when you feel bad, I can live with that. I will be here for you no matter what and I will never stop loving you because you and my daughter are the best things that has ever happened to me

Yes I'll marry you. A million times yes and I would kiss you but I wouldn't want you to catch my flu

Callen: your worth it

He gave me a long and passionate kiss and as I moaned his tongue entered my mouth and he deepened the kiss while caressing my hips

Callen: I love you so much

I love to too G Callen. I can't believe you went through with this proposal even though I look terrible right now. I didn't even look this bad when those guys kidnapped me

Callen: I think you look beautiful. This is a nice look for you, your adorable with your little red nose and puffy eyes and your still the most beautiful woman in the world to me

Callen: everythime we have sex its mind blowing, but I'm holding you to that promise woman

It's one promise I know I'll keep baby. You made me cry being so sweet and I'm not one to do that. This was completely unexpected and knowing you love me even when I'm a mess is so amazing

Callen: I told you your perfect no matter what Talia. Your a beautiful person and I love you unconditionally

I love you too and I don't think I could ever change the way I feel about you G. Since we're taking this big step don't you think its time you met my parents? Your never around when their here

Callen: not true, I met them a few months nago because I had been planning on asking you to marry me for a while and I wanted to see oif they were ok with that. You know meeting people is not something I'm interested in but for you I'd do anything. Your dad and I hung out a few times and I had lunch with your mom a few times. Their good people and their all for me asking you to marry me

You thought of everything didn't you? Your really great and I know if you have such a good relationship with them you won't mind mthem coming over for dinner tonight

Callen: they live in Miami

Not anymore, they wanted to be closer to Aniyah and me so they moved back here and I invited them over for dinner. Do you mind?

Callen: not at all, dinner will be nice. I'm not a chef and your not feeling well so how about we order in

No way, I only have a slight fever and mild headache, all the other symptoms are gone and I should be back to feeling good in no time. Mom's coming later to help make dinner while you have some bonding time with dad.

Callen: that's just great, you enjoy your breakfast while I get our princess ready for her play date with Maya and Mason

She's spending the morning with my parents so her play date will have to be rescheduled and while you were cooking I was getting her things  together. Mom will be by in a few minutes to pick her up so you can stay in bed with me all morning

Callen: I can't say I don't love where this is going. We're going to have a very fun morning aren't we?
