A car horn outside signaled that Ahren was outside waiting. Austin stood up, grabbed his phone and left out of the house, hearing his old man still yelling on the phone as be closed the door. He hurried out to the car and got in, greeting both Ahren and Rian, who was in the backseat. Ahren drove off to the house where the party was being held.

The house was huge, two stories at the most. There weren't many neighbors around so obviously the music was going to be played loud enough without any complaints, lights were flashing inside and outside the house, sending different colors onto the snowy lawn and up in the sky. Bodies were already outside, drinking and getting high. Austin noticed a few people passed out in the bushes which was weird but he shrugged it off and followed Ahren and Rian inside. Rian went off, seeing some of the few people he knew that were standing in the kitchen.

"Dude! You made it!" A spiky haired Mexican walked up to Ahren and Austin, smiling widely.

"Yeah, I brought some friends along with." Ahren said, pointing towards then kitchen and then towards Austin who was looking around the room.

"Beers in the kitchen, plus more drinks if you want," the guy said, Ahren nodded and Austin wandered off into the kitchen to get a drink. He poured it in a cup, watching the liquid fill it up. He took a couple of sips, it burning the back of his throat like usual, but he was used to it.

。。。

Austin jumped awake quickly, hearing his phone going off with his alarm. He let out a loud groan, immediately regretting ever having to wake up. The sun spilled in through his windows which made him roll away and pull the covers over his head which was pounding horribly. Why did he agree to go to that party in the first place? He had to go to school although he really wished he could stay home and sleep off this hangover.

He got comfortable under the covers again, almost asleep when loud knocks came from his bedroom door only horrified the splitting headache more.

"Austin! Get up, you have school!" His old man was yelling on the other side. Of course his dad was angry about something, he usually is.

Sighing, Austin sat up and tossed his covers aside, getting out of bed and showering and getting dressed for school in the little time he did have. Austin gaped at his reflection, seeing a purple bruise right under his eye. What all the hell happened last night?

The bedroom door swung open and Austin's dad was stood there, looking expectant and somewhat pissed.

"Seriously Austin, you need to get going. I know it's cold outside but I don't pay for your schooling just for you to stay home." He said, Austin rolled his eyes and grabbed his backpack, phone and keys, walking past his old man with a muttered goodbye.

He closed the front door and began to walk down the driveway before stopping. Alan was supposed to be taking him to school today. Austin smiled, walking in the direction of Alan's house, making it there in no to me. Austin grinned wider, knocking on the front door, waiting for a moment or two before it swung open.

"Hey," Alan smiled, looking up at the tall boy. Austin chuckled and smiled.

"Hi, that ride still up for an offer?" He questioned, Alan nodded and smiled, gasping suddenly.

"What happened to your eye?" Alan asked, reaching up and gently brushing his fingers over the spot. Austin winced and jerked back. "Sorry," Alan whispered, biting his lip.

"I-It's fine, your hands are just really cold." Austin mumbled, Alan's cheeks warmed up and he grinned a little before turning and beckoning Austin to come inside. He sat down on the couch and Alan hurried off upstairs to finish getting dressed. Austin laughed and shook his head, relaxing against the couch as he waited.
