"I want you to meet my dad." Austin said bluntly, making Alan choke on the water he was drinking. His eyes widened and he looked at the brunette beside him like he was crazy.
"Y-Your dad. You want m-me to meet him?" Alan repeated, making sure he heard his boyfriend correct.
Austin nodded, biting his lip a little. "I just think that once he meets you, once he sees the reason I'm so reluctant to leaving, maybe he'll change his mind." He said, placing his hand on Alan's thigh.
The ginger blushed heavily, not only because Austin was touching his thigh, but because he was the reason that Austin didn't want to leave, and that just made his stomach churn.
"What if- what if it doesn't work?" Alan asked, the brunette quickly leaned in, kissing the boys lips before pulling back.
"Don't worry about that, baby," he said. "I honestly think you're too cute for someone to say not to, or hell, even resist."
Alan's cheeks warmed up more at the older boys words, but a small smile formed on his face. "O-Okay," he mumbled.
"Good, because we're having dinner at six tonight." Austin said, Alan groaned softly.
"You give me no time to get dressed and look nice." The ginger muttered. Austin laughed, kissing the side of his boyfriends head.
"You'll look gorgeous no matter what."
。。。
"So he basically threw the idea at your face?" Aaron asked, tossing himself back against the gingers bed as he looked through his closet of sweaters to find something cute.
"Yeah, but I mean, it's not like I could say no anyways, his dad already knew about this, all Austin needed was an answer." Alan said, pushing hung up sweaters aside.
"What are you going to wear?" Aaron asked, rolling to his stomach as he watched the ginger boy continue his search.
"A sweater, obviously." The boy mumbled, pulling out a sweatshirt and examining it before shaking his head and hanging it back up.
"Oh really now, I thought you'd pull out a t-shirt that doesn't exist in your wardrobe whatsoever." Aaron said, Alan grinned and shrugged, pulling out a dark grey sweater and black skinny jeans. He bit his lip and left his best friend on the bed to go into the bathroom to change from his clothes. He pulled the warm sweater over his head and straightened it out, smiling before pulling on his skinny jeans.
"I would be very shocked if one day you wore something that didn't have long sleeves on it." Aaron said as the ginger came back into the room.
"Oh shut up." He mumbled, tossing his others clothes into a basket. Alan fixed up his hair and smiled, pulling on his shoes and fixing his sweater once more.
"Hurry up you dummy, it's almost six." Aaron said, climbing out of the bed. He was the designated driver for Alan, agreeing to take him over to Austin's.
Alan felt his stomach churn and he bit his lip, grabbing his phone and doing one last clothing check before he was pushed out of the room. The two got into the car and Aaron started it up, the stereo blasting and heat on high. They both sang like idiots and it eased the nervousness in Alan's stomach as they drove to Austin's house, but as soon as they pulled up outside, all of it returned.
"It'll go fine, buddy." Aaron said, sensing his best friend and how he was once so confident to shaking at the knees and looking scared.
"Yeah, I know, I just..." He took a deep breath and wiped his sweaty palms against his jeans. He couldn't back out now, he was actually looking forward to meeting Austin's dad, but he was just so nervous and the idea of backing out seemed like a good one.
