Cautiously Alan walked to the window where the sound came from. As he crept closer, the tapping happened again and Alan nearly screamed when a figured popped up, but he then realized that it was just Austin, pointing towards the front door. Alan rolled his eyes and walked over, unlocking the front door quietly and allowing Austin to come inside.
"Get dressed in something way warmer than that." He said, looking down at the ginger who was dressed in a long sleeved shirt and sweatpants.
"Why?" Alan questioned, Austin rolled his eyes and pushed him towards the stairs.
"Just do it, I'll explain everything when we leave." Was all Austin said. Alan sighed but said nothing further as he silently made his way upstairs and to his room where he pulled a sweatshirt over his long sleeved one and replaced his sweatpants for some skinny jeans and placed Vans on his fuzzy socked feet. He grabbed his phone and key, making his way back downstairs. Austin smiled and opened the front door, walking out with Alan following. Once the door was closed and they were walking down the sidewalk was when Alan began with the questions.
"Why have you waken me up at one in the morning? And where are you taking me?"
"For starters, I thought you'd still be awake, I would have texted you but...y'know, and I'm taking you to a party." Austin said, Alan frowned. He really didn't want to go to party, knowing that he'd most likely drink, plus he felt bad that Aaron couldn't come along.
"Why are you taking me to a party? What if I don't want to go to this?" Alan questioned, Austin smiled and shrugged.
"It's a bonfire that a friend of mine is having and I wanted you to come with me because, believe it or not, I actually like your company." Austin said, making the ginger snort and roll his eyes.
"How kind of you, I thank you for actually liking my company." Alan said, Austin chuckled and shrugged.
Austin pulled Alan along the sidewalk in the cold and dark, nudging him when they had to turn one way. They talked mostly for the walk, laughing at each other and Austin making the small boy blush as he called him that stupid nickname or said something that Alan thought was cute. Finally after an adventure in the woods at the park, they finally arrived at the bonfire party. There was a large amount of people here and the fire was going, bright and big. Lots of alcohol made Alan's skin itch and he made sure he stayed far away from that.
With a tug of his hand, Austin was pulling him along towards a group of people and Alan suddenly felt shy, which was weird, he normally was very social, talkative and kind to people, but these kind made Alan's stomach churn with uneasiness.
"Hey, it's Carlile!" Someone said from the group, Austin waved to them with his free hand, tugging Alan a little closer to him.
"Glad you could make it, almost thought you were going to miss out on this." One said, Austin chuckled.
"Missing a party? Nah, that's not me." Austin said, his friends grinned and drank from their cups. Alan let go of Austin's hand, seeing as he was distracted and talking to his friends. He began to wander around, walking past people until someone grabbed his wrist, spinning him around until he came face to face with a bright and smiling Kellin.
"I didn't know you were here," he said, Alan felt a relief, having someone he knew that was here also.
"Yeah, I actually didn't plan on it, but here I am." Alan said, stuffing his hands in his pockets.
"Did you come with Aaron?" Kellin asked, Alan shook his head.
"Nope, he's still sick. I came with Austin," Alan pointed over to where he was still talking to his friends, laughing and having a good time. "He woke me up and decided it was good idea to bring me." Kellin grinned.
