For an entire week Alan hadn't gone to school, he was afraid that when he walked into first period on a Monday morning that everything would come flooding back and he would break down right then and there. His mom was all too okay with it, allowing him to stay out of school for the week, but as soon as the next following week came, she forced him out of bed and gave him the biggest pep talk and speech he had ever head.

Now it was two months later, it was the first of December and it was just getting colder. Alan was still hurt, less than he was before, but hurt nonetheless. There were times where he desperately wanted to talk to Austin because he missed the stupid tall brunette like crazy and he craved to he held in his arms again, but he tried to remember every word that his mother had told him and he tried to fight back the tears that threatened to spill over.

Austin walked into first period and his stomach dropped. Alan was sat there at his desk, furiously rubbing at his eyes with the sleeves of his all too adorable Christmas sweater that Alex had convinced him to get. The brunette was so tempted to talk to Alan when he sat down, he wanted to know what was wrong with the beautiful boy and why he was crying, but it'd break his heart even more if he heard the answer, so he left it alone.

All through school Austin felt very bad for not asking Alan what was wrong, because during lunch, all the way down at the table he was sitting at with his friends, he could see Alan talking to Aaron and tears rolling down his cheeks. Austin had grown to really hate Shay, more than he has hated someone before.

"Calm down buddy," Aaron cooed, Alan shook his head, going to say something but the cafeteria door swung open and a rushed looking Kellin stepped in. He quickly found Alan and Aaron and sat down.

"What are you-"

"Shay is lying about everything." He said, cutting the ginger boy off.

"What?" Both Alan and Aaron said at the same time.

"Shay, he's lying, about everything he said to Alan about Austin getting really drunk and funding him, asking him to go upstairs or whatever." Kellin explained.

"H-How do you know that? How do you kn-know if the person who to-told you that isn't lying?" Alan asked.

"Because, I talked to Alex and he asked one of Jack's friends, Rian, about the party that seemed to make you two break up," Kellin explained, "and Alex told me that Rian told him that nothing ever happened between Austin and Shay that night, in fact Shay was already in bed with some other guy while Austin was downstairs hitting a few blunts and having a few drinks."

Alan's stomach flipped and his heart shot for the sky. He felt so happy. Oh god, Austin probably would never forgive Alan for believing some other guy who told nothing but lies and tried to seduce everyone into bed instead of him.

The brunette turned his head as he saw Alan jump and hug Kellin. He felt jealous because, although he had no idea what they were talking about, he wanted to be the one to make Alan smile and laugh like that again, to get those little hugs the boy gave when he was happy. Austin missed that like crazy, but he was still angry but it was beginning to slowly fade.

Before either of the three could say anything, the bell rang. Alan sighed and stood up, walking in between Aaron and Kellin.

"What are you even doing here? Don't you have school?" Alan asked, turning to the boy beside him. Kellin gave a shrug and smiled.

"I skipped out for lunch so I could come and tell you, it was really important and I'd most likely forget."

"And you couldn't text me?"
