Austin bit his lip as he stared at the door in front of him. He was nervous, really nervous. He skipped out on school today, thinking through his plan. Hell, he even dressed up nice in a white button up shirt and black skinny jeans.
He was going to do it today.
The brunette knocked a couple of times on the door, gripping the flowers behind his tighter behind his back as the front door opened and there stood the ginger, looking breathtaking as ever, even if he was wearing sweatpants and a long sleeved t-shirt.
"What are you doing here?" Alan asked, biting his lip as he looked the tall boy up and down, taking in his appearance.
"Um, I- I wanted to take you out on a date tonight," he said, feeling his hands shaking and sweating as he brought out the flowers. Alan smiled, seeing the daisies.
"You're so sweet," Alan said, leaning up and pecking Austin's cheek. "Come in." The ginger beckoned him inside, smiling at the flowers even more.
Alan walked into the kitchen and smiled at his mother, placing the flowers on the counter and going through the process of putting them into a vase. He returned from the kitchen and walked closer to the boy who was sat on the couch, wiping the palm of his hand over and over again on his jeans. He never felt so nervous in his entire life, but he had to go through with this, he wanted too.
"Does that mean I have to get dressed?" Alan asked, Austin looked up and grinned, nodding his head. Alan let out a little sigh, grinning and heading upstairs to change out of his clothes, replacing them with skinny jeans and a pastel blue sweater. He even fixed his hair up just a bit before returning back to Austin who was messing with the ends of his shirt, trying to distract the nervousness in his stomach, so far it was working, but when he looked up and saw Alan, all of it returned again.

Austin stood outside the restaurant with Alan holding his hand. He had somehow convinced his dad to let him drive the car since they were having to go across town to get here. Alan smiled as Austin either stumbled over his words or would nervously clear his throat. He didn't understand why Austin was so nervous about this, but it was still cute.
Half way through dinner, Alan accidentally made a waiter trip, spilling the food that was on a tray all over Austin's lap forcing the brunette to stand quickly, letting the contents dump to the floor. Alan sat there, wide eyed and mouth hanging open as he looked at the boy in front of him.
He was completely embarrassed.
"I-I'm so sorry, sir!" The waiter apologized, Austin didn't say anything, only stared at his stained jeans. Alan couldn't make words form, he just ruined their date and now he felt terrible, but he couldn't help but fall into a fits of giggles.
"Clean this mess up, and make sure their meal is free," a man, Alan assumed it was the manager, said, hurrying himself out of the kitchen. "We are dearly sorry this happened, don't worry about a thing." He added, looking to Austin.
When the table was cleaned and the manager, along with waiter, had apologized, Alan and Austin were leaving out of the restaurant without a single word. How was just angry with the fact that his jeans were ruined and Alan was upset that this was all his fault. Silently Austin opened up the door for Alan, allowing him to climb into the car before going over to the drivers side and getting in, driving off. Alan stared out the window while Austin gripped the steering wheel, watching the road as he drove. When the car stopped at a light, Austin spoke up.
"I'm sorry...that this wasn't the best first date."
"Are you kidding?" Alan giggled. "It was the best date I've ever been on, and this was the first," he said. "You went through the trouble of getting a car, flowers and finding a restaurant that didn't suck. Even if you did get spaghetti all over your jeans, it was still perfect."
"Yeah?" Austin questioned, looking over at him. Alan smiled and nodded, reaching over and touching the brunettes cheek.
"Yeah."
Austin grinned and leaned over, gently pressing a kiss to the gingers lips. A horn honking made the two jump apart and Austin start to drive as Alan giggled.
"So what made you decided to want to go on a date?" Alan asked, watching as Austin drove.
"Oh well, um, I really like you and...I wanted to ask you, officially, to be my...boyfriend." Austin mumbled, glancing from the road to the ginger beside him and back again. Alan giggled and leaned across the console and gave the boy a kiss on his cheek.
"I like you too, but what if I don't want to say yes?" He questioned, Austin gave a shrug.
"Then I'd just ask you over and over again until you finally say yes."
"But even after all of that, what if I say no?"
"Then honestly, I'd be very sad."
Alan grinned. "You don't have to be sad, I'll be your boyfriend."
"Good," Austin mumbled, smiling at the boy again.
The drive back to Alan's house was fun and eventful. Austin even stopped for ice cream, stealing a few bites from Alan who had an adorable pout on his lips, which he happily kissed when given the chance. Now, both happy and bubbly, stood outside Alan's front door, merely inches apart.
"Thank you, for tonight," Alan mumbled.
"I'm just happy you didn't slam the door in my face," Austin said, making Alan giggle.
"I would never," Alan said. Austin didn't reply, only hummed and decided he really wanted to kiss Alan, so he did, tasting vanilla ice cream on the gingers lips which only drove him to wanting more. His hands moved to Alan's hips, pulling closer than before.
Austin was such a good kisser, Alan decided, and all he wanted to do was kiss the tall boy all day long, but it sadly drew to an end when Austin's phone vibrated, making them pull apart.
"You should probably get back home," the ginger said softly, Austin hummed in disappointment.
"I'm coming back over later, kitten." Austin said, Alan shook his head and rolled his eyes.
"Don't do that," he said, "I'll see you at school."
"Kitten," Austin started, but Alan kissed him, making him stop.
"School tomorrow, I'll see you tomorrow." He said, biting his lip. Austin sighed and let their foreheads rest together.
"Okay, fine, I'll listen to you." The brunette muttered in defeat. Alan giggled and kissed him once more before pulling away. They both mumbled a goodnight, kissing one last time before parting ways. Austin went to his car and Alan went inside, feeling as if he were walking on clouds.
