He didn't know what to say. Of course he loved Austin, he just didn't expect those words to come out and for some reason he couldn't say it back and he so desperately wanted too. Austin stared at the ginger expectantly, needing to know if he felt the same way, but he wasn't even saying anything, he was just staring with wide eyes.

"Please say something." The brunette whispered, Alan opened his mouth to speak but then closed it. Just like that, Austin's heart broke again and he shook his head, climbing off the bed.

"I-I don't know." Was the magnificent words that came out of the gingers mouth and he didn't know why he said that. He wanted to say he loved Austin back, but that came out instead.

"I've got to get home," Austin whispered, leaving from the room. Alan tried to say something else but the words couldn't form and he was left, sitting on his bed like a babbling idiot. The love of his life had walked away and he couldn't stop it.

Austin was halfway down the street, his hands stuffed in his pockets to keep them warm. He felt really stupid now and all he wanted to do was take back what he said, but then again he didn't. He really loved Alan, even for such a short time between them both, he just knew that the ginger was someone he cared about so deeply and loved so much. He was such a magnificent person that Austin could barely contain himself.

"Austin!" He heard Alan shout from down the street and his running footsteps as he got closer. The brunette almost didn't want to stop, but he did. He turned around just in time for Alan to run right into him, quickly trying to explain himself while catching breath.

"I really am sorry, I don't know why I even said that. I was trying to say something back, but the words wouldn't process and then-"

"You can tell me if you don't love me back, Alan. You don't have to make excuses." Austin snapped, the ginger flinched slightly and shook his head.

"I'm not making excuses! I really do love you, I mean it. I would never lie to you about something that means a lot to me." Alan said, crossing his arms. Austin didn't say anything, he felt like he could throw up with all the happiness and excitement coursing through his body right now. "I should have said it back and I really wanted too, but you said it so suddenly and it just surprised." Alan whispered. The brunette felt silly for overreacting the way he did, but when Alan didn't say anything, he felt heartbroken all over again.

Without a word, Austin wrapped his arms around the smaller boys waist and held him close. Alan grinned and wrapped his arms around his boyfriends neck, bringing him down for a kiss that was filled with so much love. Austin gripped his hips and pulled him closer, kissing the boy hard. The ginger gasped and quickly caught up, moaning softly as Austin bit his lower lip.

The mood shattered whenever the temperature dropped lower and it began to snow a little harder. The two pulled away, laughing and smiling at one another. Alan grabbed the brunettes hand, pulling him along to his house again. His mom was still in the kitchen with some coworkers, drinking whine and talking. The two boys went upstairs and changed their slightly damped clothes for something much warmer.

Austin had the small boy pinned against the bed as he kissed his lips and neck, smiling when he heard the soft moans tumbling form those pink lips. He wanted to remember every part, every sound, every little thing about the boy before he left. He wanted everything to be imprinted into his mind, so that when he closed his eyes at night, he'd see him, he'd see the boy he fell in love with slowly.

"I love you," the brunette whispered, his lips lightly brushing against the gingers puffy ones.

"I love you, too." Alan said softly, reaching up and running his fingers through the curly locks. Austin grinned and kissed him, his hand gripping the boys small hip. He sighed loudly and rolled to the side, pulling the ginger closer to him as he kissed the top of his head. They both laid there in silence as the people downstairs laughed over work and chatted loudly. Alan still pushed the thought of tomorrow into the back of his mind, he didn't want to think about it ever again. Austin was already past asleep, his arms wrapped around his small boyfriends waist and his mouth slightly open as he softly snored. Alan grinned and kissed underneath the brunette chin, grinning when he heard him grumble.

Eventually Alan fell asleep, his head tucked into the brunettes chest and his hands lightly gripping the t-shirt he wore. He thought that maybe he held on, Austin wouldn't go and that this was all just one big nightmare.
