It had been a month for the couple with happy lots of kisses and late night cuddles. Things seemed to go so smoothly between the two and Austin loved holding and kissing the small boy, making him laugh and smile. He had never felt this way for someone, it was a whole new feeling, but he liked it.
Now the two of them were walking together away from the diner they are at for a date. It was like a make-up for their first one that went embarrassingly wrong. Austin thought of the cute idea while sitting in class a few days ago, and honestly, he had to go through with it. His stomach churned when he saw the big smile on Alan's face when Austin asked him.
"Yeah and-"
"Carlile!" Someone shouted, cutting Austin off. The brunette looked down the street and saw a familiar face coming towards their direction. He let out a little sigh and held a little tighter to Alan's hand. He glanced down at the small boy, seeing a confused look on his cute face.
"Dude, long time no see." Tony, a boy that was Austin's age but shorter, said, smiling wide and walking closer.
"Yeah, I know." Austin said, gritting his teeth.
"Where have you been man? I haven't seen you at any of the parties lately. Normally you're there and getting buzzed." Tony said. Austin gave a shrug.
"Just haven't felt like it," he mumbled. Alan looked up and stared between the two.
"Ah, I see," Tony shrugged. "Who's this? You're new boy?"
Austin's fist clenched. Of course Tony was going to bring up something he wished he could just forget.
"This is Alan, and before you say anything stupid, he's my boyfriend." Austin said, his teeth gritting again. Tony grinned and looked to Alan and their hands.
"Oh, so you've finally moved on from Shay?" And that's when Austin had had enough. He punched Tony square in the jaw, making him stumble at the contact, nearly falling to the ground.
"Keep your damn mouth shut!" Austin yelled. "You know nothing!" Alan gasped loudly, pulling back the tall boy before anymore damage could be done. Tony scrambled away, holding his aching jaw while Alan tried his best to calm down the older.
"Let me the fuck go!" Austin snapped, pushing Alan's hands away. He stormed off in one direction, leaving Alan dumbfounded in the middle of the sidewalk.

The ginger tried so many times to contact his boyfriend with calls and texts, but there was nothing and that bothered him. He wanted to help, to make things better but he didn't know how and Austin not answering him just made it ten times harder.
Austin, on the other hand, was pacing around his room, his anger not subsidising and the damn buzzing of his phone just made it worse. He pulled at his hair, needing to punch a wall or break something. He had to get this out of his system, do something to make him feel better. His old man wasn't home and if he was, things would be worse, knowing the both of them.
The buzzing of his phone continued and Austin let out a sigh, snatching the thing from his bed and looking at all of the messages from a very concerned Alan. At least he didn't want to leave after went down earlier. All of the messages were Alan begging Austin to answer him, to at least say he was alright.
The brunette bit his lip and looked around the mess in his room he made. It looked terrible, worse than it had before everything that happened. Austin guessed he had to explain why he snapped like he had, leaving a very upset and confused ginger boy alone. Knowing that made the brunettes heart pull. He can't believe he left his boyfriend alone and yelled at him like he did.
Without another thought, Austin was up, heading out of his room and house, heading straight for Alan's where he quickly knocked on the door and waited for the boy he dearly needed to apologize to.
Alan quickly went to the door, swinging it open and letting out a breath when he saw Austin. He immediately relaxed and pulled the older boy into the house and to the couch where they sat. Alan crossed his arms over his chest and stared at the brunette.
"Would you care to explain what that was all about earlier?" He asked. Austin sighed and ran fingers through his hair.
"It was out of line, I know, and I'm sorry for yelling at you and possibly scaring you, but Tony didn't have the right to say any of that shit, especially something that involved you," Austin said.
"Who's Shay?" Alan asked curiously and Austin glared down at the ground. He hated that name.
"Shayley Bourget," Austin mumbled, and instantly Alan frowned. He knew who that boy way and he was only bad news. "I'd be with him a lot during parties I went to, I'd drink with him, we'd get really drunk and end up...y'know."
Alan felt jealousy run through his blood like ice and anger flare up inside him. Of course it was Shay. The boy was the type to sleep around all the time and be at parties, he was usually with someone every few weeks and sleeping with them.
"So you've gone to parties, got drunk with Shay and then slept with him?" Alan asked, clearly angry. Austin gave a slow nod.
"And it meant nothing," Austin added for good measure.
"Because Tony said something about it, you punched him?" Alan asked.
"It's none of his business about anything and it made me angry." The brunette mumbled, picking at the hem of his jacket.
"Why of all people would you choose Shay?" Alan demanded, standing up. "Why do people always choose him? I never understood it! They know he's not in for it for a relationship, but they still go for him!"
Austin bit his lip and watched the ginger unwind all of his feelings, mainly all of his jealousy. The boy just kept pacing back and forth, yelling it all out and Austin tried not to laugh. How was he supposed to sit there and let the cute boy look the way he did, being jealous and everything.
"I just..." Alan sighed and plopped down on the couch, "don't understand how you could ever be with him and not still want him."
Austin frowned slightly and pulled his boyfriend closer to him. He pulled the boy into his lap and grabbed his waist, rubbing circles into the gingers hips.
"I don't want him, never have and never will. Yeah, drunk me may have wanted something, but he was just someone to screw around with and we both agreed that it meant nothing and we would both carry on as if nothing happened, and that's what we did," Austin said, "but then I saw you and your weird little cute face and I wanted to not be doing what I was and be somewhat different."
Alan bit his lip and looked down at the brunette. "So Shay isn't cuter than me?" He asked softly. Austin snorted, shaking his head.
"Of course not, baby, not even close." He said. Alan's eyes widened slightly and he smiled, leaning in quickly and kissing the brunette sweet and hard. Austin quickly kissed him back, pulling him closer than before and Alan wrapped his arms around the boys neck, tangling his fingers in the brunette hair.
After a minute or two, they pulled apart, catching their breaths. Alan grinned and Austin pecked his lips. The ginger giggled and pressed a kiss to the older boy's bottom lip.
"I really am sorry about snapping at you earlier," Austin said softly. Alan gave a shrug, running his fingers through Austin's hair.
"Is your hand okay?" Alan asked softly. The older chuckled and nodded, giving his hips a gentle squeeze.
"It's just a little bruised, but I'm fine." He said, Alan nodded and kissed him again, loving the feeling of kissing the older boy.
They both curled up against each other on the couch, turning on the t.v. and pulling a blanket over themselves with jealousy, anger and everything else subsided.
