(Jessica's POV)

As soon as Christmas ended my parents and I went on a vacation for a couple of weeks. I've been texting and skyping Derek tons over the days. I just missed him so much, and finally we were on the plane. Leaving Florida, and I so excited to see Derek again. We finally landed, and as I was walking off the plane. I saw a sign with my name on it. That's when I saw my angel, he was dressed up in a suit and was holding a bouquet of flowers. His blonde hair was slicked back, and his brown eyes were shining. I dropped my bags with my parents and ran to him. Derek opened his arms, and I crashed into him. Hugging him to death, and our lips smacking together into a passion I missed. "Oh, I've missed you so much," Derek whispered in my ear. Kissing my cheek, and staying in the hug.

"I missed you too," I whispered back.

Suddenly, I heard my dad cough behind us. Derek let me go, and I stepped back. His hand was now holding mine. "Hello, Mr. and Mrs. Whitaker. How was your trip?" He asked.

"It was wonderful, and we didn't miss the cold of Indiana." My mom said.

"But we did miss our home and friends. We were hoping of having a hunting trip with the other families soon." My dad said as we walked out the airport to our car.

Arriving at the car, "Mom, dad, can I go with Derek?" I ask.

"Sure, just be home around 9." My mom said.

Giving me a hug, and I walked with Derek to his truck. "So are your parents really thinking about another hunting trip?" He asked, driving out of the parking lot.

I nod my head, "Yeah, I wasn't for sure if I wanted to go or not." I answered.

"So, what do you want to do?" He asks.

"What about some Starbucks?" I ask with a smile.

Derek laughs at me, "Sure, and we can go see Melody. She may be working today." I looked over at him.

"Melody is working at Starbucks now?" I asked, confused.

"Yeah, started right after Christmas. Did she not tell you?"

I shook my head, "She did not." I mumbled out. Staring out the window, and realizing almost all the snow was disappearing.

Derek pulled into a parking spot and we both got out. Walking hand in hand inside, and seeing that it wasn't really packed. Going in line, and that's when I saw Melody making coffees. She waved and got back to work. Waiting in until it was our turn. "Hello, welcome to Starbucks. What would you like?" Melody asks us.

I smile, "I would like a triple chocolate frappe." She nodes, pressing buttons on the cash register.

"And I would a pumpkin spice latte," Derek said.

"Total white girl," I said, poking him in the side.

Derek gasps, "Me... A white girl." He said, laughing.

"Okay, is that all?" She asks.

"Yep!" I say.

"Okay, they will be out in a couple minutes."

We stand to the side, and that's when I realize Melody didn't have us pay for the drinks. "Did you pay for the drinks?" I ask.

Derek shakes his head, "I did not." I grumbled to myself. Minutes later our names were called, and Melody each gave us our cups.

"I know what you did," I said to her.

"I don't know what you are saying," Melody responded.

"Come on," Derek says, taking my hand in his. Leading outside, as we walk next to each other. Going to the park nearby, and just enjoying the time we had together. Finally, sitting down on one of the benches next to the lake. Seeing people ice skating and making snowmen.
