(Athena's POV)

It's been two days since the accident and I have been in the worst pain since. We decided to end the camping trip early and all of us going home. I haven't seen Damon since I left him to go hunt. I have tried to text him and call him. But I always got his voicemail. I have been stuck in my house, doing nothing since the accident.

My calf is patched up and as a wrap around it. I have to use crutching to get around or a wheelchair. But usually, I'm just up in my room, doing school work or trying to get the pain to go away. Right now, I was laying in my bed. Crying off the pain, trying to muffle my crying to my now soaking wet pillow. I screamed into wanting this all to go away. When I heard my door, opened. Thinking it was mom or dad, and wanting them to go away. I pretend to be asleep, but that's when a huge sob comes out of me. I try to hold my breath when I feel arms wrap around me.

That's when I knew this wasn't one of my parents. Sitting up, realizing I was in the arms of Damon. I wrap my arms around him and cry into his shoulder. He begins to rub my back, trying to get me to stop crying. A couple minutes, I begin to calm down.

Pulling away I look up at him, "Where have you been?" I asked, confused.

He gave me a small smiled, "Busy, trying to clear my head of some things. I'm sorry I haven't been with you this whole time." That's when he leaned down giving me a small kiss on the lips.

I smiled, "I forgive you, only for another kiss." I say, puckering my lips. He laughs and kisses me again. We turn my t.v. on and snuggle up in my bed. I soon began to drift in and out of sleep.

Walking up and finding Damon still there. I silently scoot out of his arms. Replacing my form with a pillow and he just cuddles with the pillow. Limping across the room into the bathroom, because I really had to pee.

Flushing, and washing my hands. I opened the door to see that Damon was still asleep. Stealing his sweatshirt he was wearing and slipped it on. Limping down the stairs, trying not to fall. Going into the kitchen, seeing a note taped on the fridge. Seeing that my parents were gone. Dad was at work and my mother was out for the day, hanging out with her friends. My brothers were most likely checking up on the animals.

Deciding to make breakfast, consisting of pancakes, bacon, sausage, and eggs. Bringing out pans and ingredients. I started to make the food, and I had my phone playing music. I sang and danced while I could, my dancing probably looked weird.

I heard someone coming my way, and I saw Michael he laughed at me. "Good morning!" I say, shimming his way.

"Morning, to you! Here let me help you." He said, cooking the meats.

While I did the eggs and pancakes. We soon finished cooking and set up everything in the dining room. Michael and I looked at each other, smiling.

"Let's play a little prank on the boys," I said, and I went into our garage.

Grabbing the air horns and duck tape. We both went upstairs and stood outside Tyler's room, and my room. Both of us opening the door and quickly duck tapping the horn. Each of throwing the annoying horn in the rooms.

Shutting the door, Michael came running to me. Picking me up in his arms, as he ran down the stairs. Both of us sat down at the dining table eating. When we heard two pairs of feet running down the stairs. Both of them were glaring at us and came sitting down across from us.

"Good morning. Y'all get a good night's sleep?" I asked, trying not to die of laughter.

"It was fine until we had a rude awakening by a horn." They said.

They then blew the horns in our faces. I covered my ears and curled up in a ball. A minute later, it was gone. I looked back up and glared at the boys. "You guys are jerks!" I yelled.
