(Melody's POV)

It's been a couple of weeks since Christmas. I have started my new job, while Courtney and Athena have started competition season. Jessica was now studying at an graphic design school. I haven't seen Tyler that often as I've hoped too. I currently work at Starbucks downtown. It's a cool job to have, and everything. But I miss hanging out with my friends, just as I was thinking that my phone in my pocket went off. "Hey, I'm taking my break now!" I yelled at my manager. He just waved me off, as I headed to the breakroom. Taking my phone out of my pocket. I smiled, seeing that it was from Tyler. And saying that he wanted to hang out tonight. I text back and say yes.

Soon, I get off work. I head to my car when this uneasy feeling that I was being followed. Turning around holding my keys in my hand as a weapon. Not seeing anything, and I climb into my jeep. Starting it, about to drive off when the window was smashed in. Hands trying to grab for the wheel, but I put the pedal to the metal driving off. Speeding home when I was pulled over by ac op. Tears ran down my face, as the older man came walking to my window. "Miss, you do know that you were going way over the speed limit?" I just nodded my head.

That's when he noticed the glass and blood everywhere. "Miss, what happened?" But I couldn't even answer him, because I broke down. "Okay, let me have your phone so I may call your parents." I shakingly gave him my phone. He then talks to my parents, telling them to meet him at the police station.

"Come, let's get you to my car." He said. Helping me out and brushing the glass off me. "Well, get someone to get your car and to look you over." He said, opening the back door. The police officer then drove me to the station. Parking outside in front, and I saw my parents car there already. He again opened the door for me, and I got out. Walking into the station and my parents were sitting in chairs in the waiting room. They rushed to me as soon as they saw me. I smiled through the tears and gave them hugs.

"Miss, I'm sorry to interrupt but we need to have your witness claim." The cop who brought me in said. "Okay."

An hour later, I was down. I was really tired, and my parents had to fill out more paperwork. Suddenly, I felt hands being placed on my knees. And slowly opened my eyes to see Tyler. "Hey..." He whispered. Brushing some of my hair out of my face.

"Hi... I'm so sorry. I forgot to text..." I couldn't finish because a sob went through my body.

"Shh... It's fine. Come here." He said. Pulling me into him. I cried into his shoulder, and that's when he picked me up. Heading outside, I shivered from the cold. He gently placed me in his truck. Coming around to the driver's side, and starting the truck. "What about my parents?" I asked.

Wiping the tears from my face. "They are the ones who called me here. And they told me to come to pick you up and take you home." He said.

I just nodded my head. Tyler then drove me home, and I slowly fell asleep on the way. Listening to the soft country music, while Tyler was humming to it.

I felt the truck be turned off, and my door being opened. "Babe, we're here." I moaned, opening my eyes a little.

Tyler laughed at me, "You are so cute." He said, kissing me on the cheek. Sweeping me up in his arms, and carried me to the front door. Setting me down, so I could unlock the front door. We walked into the house, and I could hear that the t.v. was going. I saw my brother, laying on the couch. I laughed and walked over. Shaking his shoulder, waking him up. "Hey, Derek wake up. You need to wake up." I said.

He slowly opened his eyes and sat up. "Melody, hey... Are you okay?" He asked. Seeing the bandages on my arms, and stood up giving me a hug.

"I'm fine. I promise, just really tired from all the questions." I said.
