(Courtney's POV)

Today, I was getting checked out of the hospital. My recovery was going faster than the doctors thought. So, I was excited that I was going to be able to go to the Christmas party at Athena's house, this Friday. I had heard from Athena that Damon and Blake were back. But Blake hasn't contacted me, and I beginning to get confused about our relationship. My parents helped back my stuff packed up, and a nurse helped me into a wheelchair. I had a boot on my left ankle, and my waist was wrapped with a brace to keep my ribs in place. I wore Blake's sweatshirt and a pair of sweatpants. I didn't have any shoes on, just nice thick wool socks. Wheeling down the hallways, and into the elevator to the pickup area. That's when I saw Blake with his truck, and it was decorated for me. Tears began to run down my face, and Blake was wearing a tux. Also, he had a bouquet of flowers. "Hey, baby!" He said, with a big smile. I just wanted to run to him, but I just had to sit there. Blake came to me and handed me the bouquet. He then wrapped me into a hug.

"Oh, I've missed you so much." He whispered into my ear.

"I've missed you too," I said.

Wrapping my arms around his neck, and that's when I feel him pick me up. "You're coming home with me," I said, and he just laughed at me.

Blake carried me over to the car, setting me down on the passenger seat. Seeing a big polar pop with cherry coke slushy, with sour patch kids in the center console. I looked over at Blake, "You're the best boyfriend in the world!" I said, as closed the door.

He walked around, sitting in the driver's seat and starting the car. Before, we even pulled out. Blake pulled me to him and kissed me with passion. Surprising, and leaving me breathless. I just stared at Blake, as he drove to my house. As Blake drove he told me about his skiing trip with his family.

It was about an hour drive to my house from the hospital. During half of the ride, I had accidentally fallen asleep in the car. The heaters were on full blast and that hadn't helped me not fall asleep. I woke up half an hour later to Blake carrying me into my house. I just snuggled closer to his warm chest, and I feel him kiss me on the forehead. I smile to myself, and he lays me to down on my bed. Tucking me in, and I open my eyes. I grab his hand, "Don't leave." I whispered to him.

"I would never leave you. I just need to go downstairs to talk to your parents and mine. Also, I need to do a couple of things." He said.

I nodded my head, snuggling into my blankets.

Soon, sleep took over me.

(Athena's POV)

What I was seeing was amazing, Damon and my mother had set up the dining room into a romantic candlelight dinner. "Oh, my gosh! This is amazing!"

Damon smiled at me as he was sitting down across from me. "You did this?" I ask.

He blushes a little, "Yeah, for us. Since you were asleep. I decided I needed a plan B." He said with a laugh.

"Well, this was a great plan B."

We then dug into our food. Talking and laughing about things, until my mom came in with dessert. My favorite, plain old chocolate chip cookies with a glass of milk. "Thank you," I said as she placed into down in front of me.

"Your welcome, sweetie." She said, placing a kiss on my forehead.

"Damon, you excited for the Christmas party tomorrow?" I asked.

Damon gave me a smile. "Of course, I wouldn't miss a Christmas Eve party with you." He said.

"Okay, just remember the party starts tomorrow at around 6," I said.

"I know, and I better go. My parents are probably wondering where I'm at." He said, looking down at his phone. Standing up and walking over. Damon leaned down, giving me a sweet kiss. Which tasted the chocolate from the cookies he had just eaten. I smiled and wrapped my arms around his neck. Making him moan a little, and I smile. Damon pulls away, "Goodnight, Athena." He says, as I escort him out of the house.

Closing the door behind him, smiling. I go back to the dining room, cleaning up. My mom walks in helping me, "Athena, you're going to have to get up early to help decorate this place. Melody is coming early to help prepare food. I don't know about Jessica, and I know Courtney can't come to help. Her parents or the hospital, they don't want her doing any labor, period." My mom explained to me.

"Okay, I'll help with the decorating as soon as I'm done with horses." I told her.

Soon, we both were done cleaning up. I headed downstairs, grabbed my stuff. Then I go back upstairs to my room. I brush my teeth and climb into bed. Snuggling up with my pillows and soon fell asleep to the sound of a snowstorm.

I woke up to my alarm clock going off, and I went into my closet. Changing into heavy clothes, and headed downstairs. Going outside and checking up on the horses. About an hour later, I was finished. I headed back inside to find my mom and Melody in the kitchen slaving away. "Good morning," I said, sitting down at the island.

Melody looked up and smiled. "Hey, where have you been?" She asked.

"I was out with the horses," I said.

"Well, we just started cooking. Do you need anything?" My mom chimed in.

I shook my head, "Nope, I was just going to help the boys with decorating the barn." I said, heading back outside.

The snow began to come down again. Tyler and Michael were on ladders. While my dad was at the bottom handing them things. "You guys need help?" I ask.

My dad turns around, "Sure, sweetie. We could always use some help." I then helped them put Christmas lights all over the barn. Shivering as I climbed up the ladder, switching positions with Tyler. The wind was harder up here.

Ignoring it I set up the lights, and at the last one. I realized I couldn't reach it because somehow I was too short. Huffing, I stepped up so I was standing on the platform. I heard my dad yell, something but I just focused on reaching the placing for the light. Suddenly, a gust of hard snow and wind struck me. And I began to sway, and I tried to balance myself. But I was too late, and I was now falling. Screaming, I landed on the soft snow. I stared up at the white sky, and that's when I suddenly I saw my brother's faces in front of me with my dad. They were talking but it all came out fuzzy. I just keep staring at them, blinking. That's when I felt someone pick me up, and I was being carried into the house.

Sitting me down on the couch, and I then saw my mom and dad sitting in front of me. My dad placed a hand under my chin, and he took a flash across my eyes. "Sweetie, are you okay?" I finally made out my mom saying. I nodded my head slowly, "I think so." I said.

Looking at both of them. Both of them a relieved smiled on their faces. "Oh, sweetie. You gave us a heart attack." My mom said.

Pulling me into a hug. "I'm sorry. I just was shocked, and I think I'm going to go take a bath." I said, standing up when suddenly I got dizzy. Swaying a little, but an arm came around me. Seeing Michael there, "Here, let me help." He said.

That's when he picked me up and carried me up the stairs to my room. Setting me down on my head, as he went and started a bath for me. He walked back in looking at me, "Think you'll be okay?" He asked.

"I think so, thank you," I said. He then left me alone in my room.

I then stripped out of the layers of clothes. Walking into the bathroom with only bra and underwear. I fully stripped and got in the warm tub. I sighed, relaxing my cold body. Leaning my head against a dry towel for a headrest. I rest, and I soon fall asleep.
